For e-liquid, the typical nicotine recommendations are generally determined by how much you smoked, and are as follows:-I smoke about 6 cigarettes per day
-I have a medium to large volume of vapor, straight to lung type of mod; Provari Mini 2.5
What strength of nicotine should I try first?
For e-liquid, the typical nicotine recommendations are generally determined by how much you smoked, and are as follows:
1/2 pack per day or less = 6 mg nicotine
1 ppd = 12 mg
1 1/2 ppd = 18 mg
2 ppd = 24 mg
* If you will be "sub-ohming", cut the nic concentration by half. (You won't be sub-ohming with a Provari 2.5; it doesn't have the power to fire sub-ohm coils)
My recommendation would be to try both 3mg and 6mg. If the 3mg doesn't stop nic cravings, go with the 6mg. If the 6mg gives too much throat hit (harshness), go with the 3 mg.
Not sure what sub ohm tank is. I am guessing its a type of tank that creates a lot more vapors when paired with the rightly powered mod?
Yes, I dont think the mini 2.5 is that powerful from what I have read. And I bought a aspire nautilus tank which I also don't think is a sub ohm tank
Awesome! glad to hear that my setup is good. And thanks for the linksSub-ohm coils are coils whose resistance (ohm) is below 1.0 ohm. These coils require more power, but deliver more vapor.
The Nautilus uses 1.8 ohm coils, so is not considered a sub-ohm tank. The Provari 2.5 can not fire a coil lower than 0.8 ohm.
I am well familiar with the Provari and Nautilus. I have owned four Provari's over the last few years and they still work as well as when new. The Provari 2.5 and Aspire Nautilus tank is a GREAT beginner's setup. Congrats on choosing a great setup right out of the gate.
Why Provari?

Excellent thought, same as I had, and started at 12 to curb the craving....-I want my vape sessions to be about 10 minutes....What strength of nicotine should I try first?
2014 (I believe) tank, a bit long in the tooth, but still sold. Great 1st tank choice....I bought a aspire nautilus tank which I also don't think is a sub ohm tank
Also less battery life, quicker wallet drain, and higher ejuice consumption in a shorter period of time. That's why you see many vaping at 3mg. For argument sake, would you prefer vaping a 3mg for 10 minutes, or a 6mg for 5 minutes? To each, his own. There's no wrong way, just what works for you.Sub-ohm coils are coils whose resistance (ohm) is below 1.0 ohm. These coils require more power, but deliver more vapor.
YES!! You can 2 liquids (doesn't matter if they're the same or not) at different strengths to change the nic level. Equal amounts of a 6 and a 12, gets you to 9. Or zero and a 12 gets you to 6. This way you can figure out what strength you need to get to your 10 minute goal....I would say try a few different strengths and remember you can mix them to make it stronger if you need...
