Keep in mind that taste is subjective...I wasn't impressed with their RY4 (very, very dark and very strong) but I've been tempted to try their menthol tobacco.

If you're interested in flavors other than tobacco their Strawberry Ice, Blue Ice, Root Beer, and Absinthe are my staples. I go heavy on the extra shots personally, but that's just my preference.

For me, as an analog quitter, I really liked the Coumarin Pipe tobacco flavor all on its own. As I got my taste back, I started mixing it with other flavors--my favorite mixers are red licorice and black currant. But the Coumarin on its own is quite good!

For something daringly different, try Cucumber Mint mixed 50/50 with Watermelon. I know, it sounds gross, but it isn't...had dinner in DC last month at Founding Farmers, and they served a side dish of watermelon with chopped mint. That was the inspiration!

I have also been enjoying a 3:2 blend of Rum Tobacco and Strawberry...due to my tastes changing, I need a bit more berry than a straight 3:2 this last week. But it's really good, like a daiquiri--going to try other fruit mixers this weekend for different daiquiri flavors. GOOD LUCK!

ETA: I started with 80PG/20VG for the throat hit...but I've discovered that 65/35 works better for me after a couple of weeks, as the flavors are more muted for my newly hyper-sensitive taste buds.

Hi

Honestly? When it comes to MBV and tobaccos flavors I would suggest "none of the above." If you are new to this and expecting some kind of tobacco smell or flavor you won't find it in their tobaccos. I have several reviews of the tobaccos up at MBV under the same user name so you can check out what I have to say at the sight. Don't get me too wrong - I actually like a couple of them as I don't like super sweet liquids. But, for example, one them tastes like a light birch beer and in no way reminds me of tobacco anything. They do have some good flavors at MBV but in general you won't find them in the tobaccos section.

If you want to investigate this question of what tobacco liquids can really be like look into getting a 6 ml sample pack at The Vapor Room. I have nothing bad to say about any of their tobacco flavors. I'm on my second fill of the day of Cuban from TVR right now.

Regarding the PG/VG question: 50/50 is a good place to start. Increasing the amount of PG will give you more throat hit - but can get too harsh if you go too far. Increase VG if things are too harsh and you want increased vapor.

My experience mirrors that of Rickajho above. I love MBV in general and have upwards of 50 bottles of different juices from them - but their tobaccos are just not good (in my experience)

If you put me in a corner and told me I had to select one tobacco juice from MBV, I would probably choose 555, only because it tastes a little sweeter and almost like an RY4 - but with some kind of aftertaste that is not pleasant. So 555 is the least unpleasant, but that is hardly a recommendation.

EDIT - just checked, I have 42 various bottles from MBV, some empty.

As said before.. In general, I like MBV as well. Havent orderd any tobacco flavors from them because of the reviews. If I were you I would give it a shot, but with little expectation. Taste is subjective and you might love it. I have an RY4 from MBV that I have had for two weeks and still cant vape it.. Very perfumy. Still waitng to steep I guess. Hoping for the best.

My fave from MBV is there Hawk Sauce.. yummie. They have alot of good flavors.

I've tried Banana Cream Pie, Pink Champagne, Honeydew, White Wine, Faux Hawk (they were out of Hawk Sauce and I really wanted to try it!), Melon Baller, Butter Cream (sent as a sample), and a custom mix of half Strawberry, half Passionfruit. (I like light, fruity flavors. See a pattern?) All of them were 15mL since I like to constantly switch between juices. Some were 0mg, some 6mg; some 80/20, 65/35, 50/50. I like the 50/50 mixes best. Definitely order Extreme Ice, too... mixes well with nearly everything. Just a couple (literally, no more than 4 or 5 drops) mixed with any fruity juice cools it down ever so slightly to give you a cool aftertaste without being overpowering and it doesn't taste like ONLY wintergreen, ONLY menthol, or ONLY spearmint... you get the gist. :) This just kind of gives you the feeling of drinking an ice cold fruit drink. Vaping Extreme Ice alone is VERY strong for me anyway, so it's a good mixing juice.

I'd also suggest starting at either their house blend/default OR 50/50. I started with their house blend, and now I'm up to their 50/50 because I love thick clouds. Some reviews have said that some of their juices with higher VG than PG have more of a muted flavor (veteran vapers can either confirm or debunk this), so on future orders if I get an even higher amount of VG I'll add flavor shots. I'd only suggest flavor shots if you have more of a VG concentration, other users have said that adding more flavor shots unnecessarily to house blends and blends with more PG gets way too overpowering.

Faux Hawk (they were out of Hawk Sauce and I really wanted to try it!)...

How was the faux hawk? I just ordered some as I can't be without hawk sauce and I'm down to my last 20ml. Description says raspberry, which I am OK with, but some of their raspberry has a chemical aftertaste.
