This is my 10th day vaping. I use an Ego Twist with a Vivi Mini Nova and juice that more than likely is sourced in China. I know that I won't find juice identical to my Marlboro Red cigs but I'm desperate to find the closest possible equivalent. I'm getting very frustrated reading reviews that wax lyrical about fruity, nutty, sweetie, coffee, etc. flavours with hints of this, that and t'other. I just can't watch another Youtube video of someone blowing vapour at a camera. I just want something that tastes as close as possible to my Marlboro Reds.

I will feel more comfortable vaping diacetyl-free juice sourced and mixed in the USA. Living in Ireland, UK vendors are the most practical for me because I can't find any Irish vendors selling USA liquid. My search has narrowed down to Liberty Flights (UK) who sell Vermillion River juice. They sell other US juices which I have ruled out because they are not listed in the thread about diacetyl-free liquids, so looks like I will be buying Vermillion River.

Can someone, please, tell me which of the Vermillion River flavours most resembles a real cigarette.

I've tried "Kentucky Blend" it was good.
Many vendors sell tobacco flavors. I'll tell ya their all still eliquid, which doesn't taste like real tobacco, thank goodness. You cant find a soda that tastes like wine or even beer either.
Look for a popular flavor that you like and try it, if you like it, your all set with a reliable source. Good luck.

Disclaimer: I have not tried Vermillion River.

I think, based on what I've read here, that their Kentucky Premium blend is their most popular juice.

I would also suggest that you get a bottle of their KY4 also. It is their version of a Ry4, and Ry4 is the juice that I have found to most closely simulate the experience of smoking a cigarette.

When we say we want something that "tastes like" a cigarette, I think what we are really saying is that we want something that will most closely simulate the feel (throat hit, etc.) of smoking one. So I understand what you are saying.

Unfortunately, finding the right e-juice is a process, not an event. For most of us, it takes sampling juices from lots of vendors before we figure out what we like and don't like and find a vendor or two whose juices suit our tastes better than others. It has taken almost 6 months for me to figure it out, and I'm still learning. In the meantime, Ry4 is the juice that kept me off of cigarettes long enough to figure it out.

Best of luck on this. Please let us know how you like the juice after you've tried it.

P.S.: Most juice needs to steep for anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of weeks. The taste will change (for the better) after it is steeped. Do a search here on ECF for "steep" for more info. I have no idea how long Vermillion's juices need to steep.

There might well be better tobacco liquids on the market but unfortunately they aren't so easy to get hold of here in Ireland. I can't order samples from each of the US companies because even if they were willing to post to Ireland the shipping costs would be prohibitive and I'm sure the Irish customs would hit me for all sorts of taxes. That's why I'm asking about Vermillion River. Liberty Flights also sell juice by Freedom Smoke USA and Alien Visions but neither of those companies is on the diacetyl-free list. I have seen a UK vendor for Halo juice but their prices are very high and I'm not sure whether they made the list.

Pappy is right about wanting to simulate the sensation of smoking and I will try the KY4. Come to think of it, since I'm more or less confined to a single brand, maybe I should try all their tobacco flavours.

Thanks very much for your replies.

FYI - Alien Visions is diacetyl free and so is Freedom Smoke who uses Flavourart flavorings which are diacetyl free. AVE states it as so on their website Q & A's and I just emailed and got an immediate response from Carolle at Freedom Smoke.

Great. That gives me a choice of three US brands. Thank you so much.

I'mQuitting, if you haven't done so already, check the UK subforum here. They may know of other vendors in Ireland or the UK that you could try. Here's a link: UK Forum

I enquired about US brands on an excellent UK forum very similar to this one and someone there gave me a link to the Halo vendor. I think that the more experienced members there are also on this forum. I think my problem is solved now that I have three brands to choose from. I can order small amounts of each of their tobacco flavours. There's bound to be something to suit me.

Looks like I'm sorted. Thanks a million.

Thanks Voltron, but I prefer to buy from an EU country to reduce shipping costs and avoid customs issues. Just in the past half hour I have found an Irish vendor selling Mom & Pops juice. I can start with Mom & Pops and if that isn't suitable I will try the UK Vendor. Things are really looking up now. Have you ever tried Mom & Pops Juice? I'm going into research meltdown at this stage.
