I can't say I have vaped in a theater yet but honestly I wouldn't really. Like a few people have said it would be too distracting to see the vapor and the led going and could cause some issues. Before a movie starts by all means I would be inclined to do so but besides that I would go to the bathroom to do that.

Then again I really only vape when I'm driving and at work since I'm in the back and nobody can be bothered by it. Home too of course but even then I noticed I'm usually too distracted to vape :p

I vape wherever I want, but very discretely so as not to provoke anyone and not when anyone is within vapour distance. I've stopped asking permission 'cause every time I do, I'm told no. Many see it but so far nobody has challenged me about it, and only 1 person expressed interest. The standard response from smokers that I suggest vaping to is "tried it, don't like it."

So I just do my own thing.

I vaped while watching the same movie. It was great in 3d. My wife and a friend went with me I was sandwiched between them. No one noticed will I vaped thru 80% of the movie till I had to change the battery.
If anyone would have even given me the eye/the what are you doing cough I would have stopped.
Like I said only one to notice was the wife cause I made her hold the soda at that point.

I've vaped through a couple movies...occasionally when out to dinner...in the mall...at the store...pretty much anywhere I go.

Its really all in how you do it. If you are trying to be noticed and trying to be arrogant it is just lack of common sense. I always try to be as discrete as the situation calls for, without hiding in a corner. In a movie, large cumulus-like clouds of vapor between me and the screen would piss me off quite a bit, same thing at dinner. Keep it from disturbing the people around you and the ones that notice will be much more likely to have a positive opinion about pv's in general. If you act like a tool, they'll probably call the manager and/or city council asap to try to get them banned.

I've only been to one movie since I started vaping a month ago, that being Book of Eli. I sat in the back row and vaped the entire time. I blew the cloud behind the empty seat next to me and nobody had any idea I was vaping. Quite an enjoyable experience.

Oh, and Book of Elis was surprisingly good. Best flick I've seen in quite a while.
