I've added a link to my signature. Apparently the threshold for the number of signatures has been raised so, if they have to start a new petition it will be even harder to get the needed sigs.

It's a minor pain to sign -- I had to register, sign out, then re-log in -- but it's worth the extra 2 minutes of your time.

Update. 16 days and <1,500 signatures needed. This is totally do-able.

I don't even care about this specific petition that much (although I think it is clever to make it about technology and jobs). But I think that the White House staff knows which petitions get enough signatures and which don't. If we can't get 5,000 signatures in a month it looks like the vaping community isn't serious about our commitment to vaping. In the long run, it makes our position weaker.
