So I'm about to hit my 3 year vapeversary (is that even a word?). When I started in 2011 I went all nuts and got into all manner of products, tried everything under the sun. Then the rba craze hit this place and again I went all nuts into that aspect of vaping. Finally I began DIYing juice.

Eventually though, vaping in terms of a hobby became dull to me. I bought a few REOs and they just work so well and consistently that I never buy anything anymore and don't tinker except maybe to rebuild the reomizer coil or re-wick.

Anyway, I was wondering what nutty hobbies the rest of the community has. Here's a list of my many "ridiculous hobbies" as my wife would put it:

vaping
Classic wet shaving
Vegetable gardening
Home brewing beer
A short stint with golf (I took 16 strokes on my first hole, no lie)
Video Games
Running

I'm looking for something new. Something completely beyond ridiculous to see if I can't aggravate the wife even more. What would you suggest? Leather tanning? Black smithing? Square dance afficiando?

I can relate. Not only does it get expensive, but it takes up A LOT of space. I acknowledge that I have (too) many hobbies, and I even enjoy all of them, but the personal enrichment that comes from so much voluntary experience is immeasurable. I won't go into detail but many of my interests are related to being a competitive athlete, artist/musician, botanist, homebrewer, chef, and an all around enthusiast for living. Other things are always coming into the mix though.

Oh this topic hits me hard. I love building things, not just regular things, is things. I was building balsa wood airplanes for a bit, even found an antique engine and made one fly.
I started making bows out of wood, even made one good enough to sell
    Then it was paper models
Vaping is for sure a hobby, and it is one that I do often with my current and longest running hobby, reading.

This post was found in an ancient ruin, probably left by aliens.

I definitely fit the bill as a serial hobbyist. Some cost way more than others. Thankfully, vaping has been offset from the money saved from not smoking!

Gun collecting/Gunsmith (building AR and AK's)
    Knife Collecting
    Flashlights
    Fly Fishing/fishing
    Hunting
    Snowboarding
    Yo-yoing
    Vaping
    Coin/paper money collecting
    Saltwater fish tanks
    Video Games
    Computers

Few fish people here! I did saltwater for about a year and got out of it because of the cost and time. Working full time and going to school didn't leave much time for the old reef tank.

My current one is a 34 gallon freshwater (mini 40 breeder), all live plants, 96 watts of T5 lighting, driftwood, 315 gph canister filter, timed lights, LED lit bubble wall, the works.

Mostly, my hobby is vaping. I was big into fish for a couple years, and now I have the tank setup so well (even has an automatic feeder) that I can let it run for 3 months without touching it. My time is primarily spent here on the forums, visiting vape shops, working and going to school. Not a whole lot else unfortunately. I just started DIY which I'm doing okay at. Haven't hit a recipe that blew my socks off yet, but the batches are coming out good. Certainly cheaper, but I still buy juice here and there, mostly Mount Baker. I figure I'll stick with that til the FDA kills everything (hopefully not!) and then my DIY skills will have to crank up a few notches

I agree with you about the Reos. After I got my first one I quit using all my other gear. But then... I can't seem to stop buying Reos.

Antique radios - which are known to consume much space - and photography - and all that gear that goes with it. I would be half better off it I was satisfied with just taking pictures of antique radios but... no.

Paintball, go karts/mini bikes, car audio; those are my big three money takers.
Billiards has always been a passion and love; but never one to hit my wallet hard core. I do have a custom cue that I have several hundred tied up into; but I routinely play with an old Dufferin green leaf sneaky Pete I paid $30 for.

The paintball equipment takes the title. I have five or six near-completed markers, and enough parts to build four or five more. Thing is, I don't play but maybe 2-3 times a year. I'm more into the mechanics and beauty of the guns. The whole ordeal drives the wife up a wall.

I am not sure. I will have a look around my man cave and see if I have any hobbies.
