(still a relative newbie ;) )

We started vapig about the same time. And you are one of the members I remember from when I first joined the ECF. I think you gave me some answers to the Long List of Questions I had when I became a Member.

2009. Other than the obvious health reasons, I started vaping because I loved the idea of being able to smoke anywhere since the smoking ban was becoming more widespread. My first kit was from White Cloud. I currently use a Provari mini and ego twist(s), hoping soon to get a Chi You. I did not become a member here till recently. I lurked around all e-cig forums for a long time. Glad I joined, love it here. :vapor:

Cant always go by start date on the forums.Took some of us awhile to find them and some metriculated over from other forums that are now defunct.[/QU

    Your post confuses me.

Actually that's pretty common. I was using a different forum for several months before I signed up here. Unfortunatlly the other forum turned into an insult forum instead of a e-cig forum so I don't go there much anymore.

I started vaping on 1 Apr 11 with an eGo-T, so I'm a noob to a lot of the folks on here.

I think the whole vaping the longest is not really valid though.

I started in 2008 like I said and still consider myself a newbie to the vaping world.

I just recently tried and still trying rebuildables the past couple months.

Took me forever to even get a variable voltage mod and even longer to get into mechanical mods or variable power devices.

I am sure there are people who started like I did on the old pen styles back in 2007/2008 and have no clue there is even a vaping world out there or tried anything new since.

    Good point, ejervjero,

It's said on here a lot, because it's true - whatever keeps you away from traditional cigs is the VERY best set-up for you.

We're all newbies in the sense that the technology is relatively new & evolving at a geometric rate. And, of course, while we all believe we've 'reduced harm' (we wouldn't be here, otherwise) still none of us know what the long-term effects are. Or what the future state-of-the-art products will be like.

Anyway, I bought Blu 'cause of a random marketing e-mail & thought I quit on Jan 1, 2010. Three days later, with empty cartridges & failing batteries, I KNEW vaping could work, if I got the right equipment. Ordered some 510 gear & haven't had a cig since Jan 7, 2010, when I got my second batch of vape mail. I moved pretty quickly to eGo's and stayed with them for a long time. About a year ago I entered the world of mechanical APV's & rebuildable Genesis atty's. Having a lot of fun with these & am totally satisfied. Can't imagine what could be better but something else will come along, I'm sure.

Edit: I lurked here as a guest until March of 2010, when I finally realized I belonged & registered, lol.
