Greetings, everyone. I am brand new to the forum as a member. My wife and I quit smoking three weeks ago and we found a lot of information on this forum that helped us get started the right way. We also had some good mentoring from a friend who started vaping several months ago. My wife's boss has been working on her for a while now. So far my wife has convinced a co-worker to start vaping and I'm working on one as well. My wife calls herself a vaping evangelist. We both are finding that we only like menthols and mints, however my wife vapes cinnamon once in a while as well as clove. I have an EVOD2 set-up and she has a Vision Spinner II with a Nautilus Mini. I've also tried a Kanger Aerotank Mega and she tried a Davide, but the Nautilus is far superior (at least it was once we figured out how to help keep it wicked and not burn). We've been shocked at how easy the transition was. Every other method we've tried to quit failed us. If they ban this stuff, we're doomed.

This is a whole new world and we are just loving it! I'm looking forward to the discussion.

I wish I didn't begin with a starter kit but I wanted to make sure I was serious about quitting smoking. Now I am finding way too many things I want to try :)

welcome Sir Pouncival ... if finances allow, get better devices for both you and your wife ... you need backups anyhow.

I quit a 30+ year smoking habit just over a year ago ... in one year, I have found my perfect vape setup and several all day vapes.

congrats and enjoy

Welcome! i'm almost 2 weeks into vaping, I have smoked a handful of analogs in moments of weakness, but less than a pack in over two weeks from half a pack a day is an improvement. I expect the next few weeks to be even better, every step helps. I'm really enjoying the vaping experience, and i don't stink like cigs all day! Keep up the good fight.

Welcome & congrats! I am almost 6 weeks analog free, which was the exact moment I started to vape with better, more satisfying equipment. I initially had no intention of quitting the analogs and was merely curious about a better vaping experience (had tried Blus and ego style two years prior), but the experience was so amazing and far more enjoyable to analogs that I haven't looked back.

Welcome to the forum
I remember the three week mark just like it was yesterday.
Do you each have a back up PV. At or about the 6 week mark for me was hell one night when I did not have a back up.
Now I am working on a back up for the back up.
Congrats Keep it up

Woodhippy

We each have a couple backups. At the moment we have a total of 5 batteries and 8 clearomizers. I have backup coils and another battery in the mail but I may need to buy some coils at the shop before the shipment arrives.

Glad you are enjoying vaping. Can I ask if you are using products with nicotine or not with nicotine? Or both? People have asked me for advise on how to start and I know it is very individual but I want to give examples to these people.

We are using products with nicotine. Not much luck ordering liquid online that tastes good. Thankfully we have lots of stores where you can test flavors.
