I've been vaping for 10 months now and I have at least 40 different flavors i keep all my juice and gear together in a tackle box an have seen many people say they store their juice in the fridge. i have been led to belive that juice has a 1-2 year shelf life is there a pro or con to storing it in the fridge?

Storing nicotine (whether the unflavoured DIY stuff or in juices) in a cool/cold, dark place keeps it fresher. Light oxidizes it and can cause it to discolour and lose its potency over time. Keeping it away from light prevents that, and cold temperatures thickens it up and keeps it fresher longer. You can freeze it if you like; neither PG nor VG freeze at normal household freezer temperatures. I keep my juices out, but my 100mg nic gets stored in portioned 30ml bottles in a fridge underneath my water cooler, and I only keep one out at a time for mixing.

I keep PG unflavored nic in the freezer in glass bottles. PG freezing point is -74F. Will last for years. So that's what I do for the 100mg ..

I keep VG unflavored (and all flavors whether PG or VG) either in the fridge in a low to the floor drawer or wine refrigerator where I can set the temp...will last 1-2 yr
Note: as per Dow: "Pure glycerine has a freezing point of about 17°C (62.6°F).However, glycerine is seldom seen in a crystallized state because of its tendency to supercool. The presence of small amounts of water within a glycerine-water solution also inhibits crystallization, which may depress its freezing point." "

I remember reading about a few members that had their juice turn rancid in the fridge, so I never have. A cool dark cupboard is fine for me.

Plus I'm really picky about flavour, I would hate for a bottle of juice to pick up flavour from that badly wrapped half-an-onion that found it's way to the bottom shelf. Bleh.

That's why I keep my nic in a water cooler fridge. The only thing I ever store in there is bottled water. ;)

I agree with this, from what I've read, also. The fridge causes condensation, which can turn the juice rancid. I rarely have juice around for more than two months, because I vape it all up.

I keep mine in a beer fridge so if I pick up the flavour from that it's just a bonus :p

This has always been the conventional method of storage for as long as I've been around.

How can glycerine have a freezing point way above freezing temperatures? 17°C is warm and balmy. Isn't glycerine sometimes used in antifreeze? If so, the freezing temp will have to be very low - like MINUS 20°C or even lower?

I got some unflavored nic 100mg in VG base and was told to not freeze by the supplier but was ok for the PG unflavored..so end up keeping the VG nic base in wine fridge in glass bottles.
Either way..will use up the VG base stock first just in case as know at least the PG nic unflavored is fine frozen..

Half in and half out for me. Neither seemed better or worse. Of course the thieves made off with my mini fridge complete with beer and ejuice.Lol
Needless to say it is all in my closet now.

Not intending to make light of your situation, but for piece of mind I've put my Rottie's bed next to my bar fridge!
