My husband had a soft ball game yesterday, so I brought along all 5 kids to cheer for him, and of course I brought my PV along with me. I would take a drag and stuff it back in my pocket, and I did that pretty much for the whole game. I thought I was being discrete because I was covering most of it, including the LED at the end with my hand, and I was sitting in the back row. After the game was over, my husband told me that one of the guys had made a comment about me smoking around the children:lol:

:ohmy:I've occasionally had funny looks and yeah-like-really-veiled or stage whispered comments when I've resorted to using my 808SD out & about (like in a covered shopping arcade or somewhere). It's an early cheap acquisition (no regrets, it's often come in handy & twice "saved my ..." )

The local librarian lets me wander among the shelves vapin' clouds from my eGo though

Was walking through a shopping mall last night and every so often pulled my Provari out and had a nice vape. Wife said "thats nice and discrete" as I was leaving clouds of vapor behind me as we walked. LOL. I wasn't even thinking about what I was doing and just vaping as "normal" Guess I need to think about stealthing more often :)

But they couldn't even see what my PV looked like because my hand was covering it and it went right back in my pocket after each puff. They made their judgements based on the "smoke" I was exhaling.

People who are very much against smoking only see the smoke and make a snap judgement. They probably didn't even see you put it in your pocket. I use to take a couple drags and then quickly put it back in my pocket so people would know it is not a real cigarette but I don't really care anymore. I carry my non-cigarette looking ego or Riva now and just leave it sitting on the bar. If anybody wants to know what it is I'm more than happy to explain it to them. Nobody has given me a hard time yet.

My husband is amazing at stealth vaping, but I get caught every time. Just tell people you are letting off steam and that's why you look so great.

Love your comment about "letting off steam".

But seriously, why are we stealthing? It makes us look guilty. We should be shouting to the world about these great little (or big) devices. Making more people aware of them and getting more people off cigarettes. Just my opinion and I have lots of them.

I guess I am more amazed that the other guy even felt it was necessary to comment on your behavior at all. Even if you were smoking I am assuming that this softball game was in the great outdoors and he didn't see you holding down any children and blowing smoke in their little faces.
I don't know when we all had to start worrying about someone seeing us doing something all the time. Can I vape in my car, can I vape in the parking lot at Lowes, can I take this stuff through the airport, can I, can I, can I....... We have become so used to all the regulations that govern every aspect of our lives that we assume that at any given moment something we are doing is wrong....

Rant over.... maybe my nic level is too low????

Stealing this from tmcase : Just my opinion and I have lots of them.
