Bad pun..sorry. I am using microsoft windows. :D
But do you go to a site..just for fun and load your cart and then before you leave..empty it? I love to do this with the E-sites..I buy all the things I could ever want or need and delete. I would be divorced if I clicked the pay button!8-o
It helps cut down on the "I wants" and then I can go back at a later date and get the "I need" stuff.
Of course I want what I want..oh well, there's always the lottery!:p
Another good thing is when I go to sites I really look around..since I can spend all the 'pretend" money I want. Sometimes I find a good deal I wasn't even aware of..then I hit PAY! I found some French Pipe for my son..36mg, 50ml bottle for about $8.00 on closeout, at electronic ash! The only thing I planned to buy there was P.G.!

We definitely didn't go to the store, fill up a cart, then go put everything back on the shelf before we left. I have done the same thing with online carts.

I don't know, Jennee. I have gathered up quite an armful of stuff browsing through stores, only to think, "I don't really need/want this". Off I go, putting everything back before I leave empty-handed. I am rather indecisive as you can probably tell from this post.
:p

I would also like to thank all you ladies. Most forums I have lurked on didn't seem to welcome noobs, but everyone here is great and you make us all feel welcome.

My habit doesn't start out as shopping. Usually it begins as researching who has the best price on something silly like wire wheels for my husband's grinder---this is when I start looking at EVERYTHING else.

I've gotten many a emails saying:
you put this in your cart and didn't buy it. if you don't buy it, it will be removed from your cart within 24 hours!!!!!!

I peek outside to see if bankers are lurking on the lawn--just to be sure.
And yes, my eBay Watch list is crammed with expired items and things I don't need and will never buy.

I did splurge though. I bought a sample size Vera Wang Rock Princess, size of about a half ounce for $7. Smells yummy and should last long enough to be included in my will for as much as we go out :D

I don't window shop, I save a TON of money!...lol...I close the window before I can spend it.

I do have a cart at Eastmall that was up over $300 at one time the other night, but then I hem and haw and it's back down to $64....and I STILL haven't placed the order. But I will add/subtract more before I actually do hit "checkout".

But I MUCH prefer window shopping in my nightie to actually going out to the mall or some such place. I truly can't stand shopping!

I love window shopping online! I fill my carts then print them out and throw them in my file to look at later. If I still really, really want it, I consider buying it. I do a lot less 'impulse' buying now. :)

Of course, I'm much pickier now as well! With all the options, I just keep searching and searching until (more like, if) I find exactly what I want. I spent about 10 hours last weekend looking at dog supplies. Found the coolest stuff, bought nothing! Found several of the items at an independent nature dog store. Made me feel good buying from there. My dog would have preferred I spent that time doing something with her but hey, we can't all get what we want.

You are not nutz Mary Kay....I've been keeping track of all of my expenditures over the past 3 mos. vs buying analogs. You know, to justify all of the goodies we have to have. And, I would have to spend at least $53.33+ per week on cigs. So, if I spend that much on e-cig supplies per week, I do not feel guilty. So far, I am ahead of the game. I can't necessarily tell people that it is cheaper to vape (although it would be w/out buying absolutely all the flavors and models), but it is so much fun!!!! Shopping for supplies and accessories is crazy fun!

Run! Nice to see you! You too Slim. :p
yeah, shopping without the day after quilt! It's truly a great way to let off steam and play on-line. My problem is not how much I spend..I really don't spend that much, it's that I do it in large amounts at once..then not for a long time. Mike tends to have panic attacts..8-o But last time it was mostly for my son, who helped pay for his stuff BTW. But we all know the bare basics are NOT enough to get you started.
