I close the giveaway threads a few days after the winner claims they're prize to keep clutter down.

What I mean is that I've seen "locked" ECF threads before.. They are not deleted, but are simply closed off to any further replies.. They can still be read, however..

On the main board, the envelope graphic for that thread has a gray lock on it.. And inside the thread, the blue/white graphic "+Reply to Thread" at the bottom will instead say "Closed Thread"...


Maybe this is no longer an option due to a prior software upgrade, or perhaps only certain people have access to do this...
