I was a smoker for 40 years! Answer the phone, light up. Watch TV, light up. Drinking coffee, light up. You get the picture. :smokie:Then my son presents me with an e-Go Cig & some RY4 juice. Hey, this isn't bad.:D Now two months later I still have the e-Go, plus an adjustable voltage battery to go with and haven't lit up once. Feels great to have that monkey off my back!
I've tried several flavors of juice but haven't really found anything that really grabs me so on I go to making my own juice. I've come to the conclusion it isn't possible to make a juice that taste like my smokes did. I've found so many recipes to try and although I've heard it's a hard flavor to work with I'm going to try to make a tincture with my favorite Hazelnut Coffee and PG.
It's a good thing I'm retired as this has turned into a hobby which I can't learn enough about fast enough to suit me! Granny's got a new addiction!

Congratulations on quitting, HoneyGram!

I've never found a juice that tastes like tobacco and quickly found that I'm totally fine with that since I wanted to move away from the whole tobacco thing anyways. I've been a fan of the sweeter stuff like vanilla, chocolate, chocolate almond caramel...you get the picture:laugh: And yes, since switching to ecigs, I must admit that I have a new addiction as well but this one is sooooo much better than the last one! :vapor:

congrats on kicking the habit!
as you know, nothing taste quite like burning tobacco.
after you extract the flavoring from the coffee test it for water solubility. if its not soluble in water, inhaling it is not recommended.
also whatever flavoring they add to the coffee beans might not be safe for inhalation.
just because its safe for the human digestive track does not mean its safe for the lungs.

Welcome HoneyGram57 to ECF. Congrats on quitting cigarettes.....you remind me of myself.....was constantly lighting up a cig but I always had to go outside to do it......was great not having to put on a winter coat, hats and boots this last winter to go smoke a cigarette. I now vape in the house and am luvin' it.

Happy Vapping!!!!

I've read enough already to know to stay away from oils so my only real concern with my Hazelnut coffee is I don't know what they used to flavor it with so thanks for the tip. :)

I taste tested a French Vanilla juice recently and must say I've liked that one better than anything else I've tried so far, but with my sweet tooth that kinda makes sense:D.

I'm also loving how much cleaner it is to vape, no more butts or ashes, and carpet burns.:) The only thing that grips me is people are still ignorant about vaping, I get told at least once a day it's as dangerous as smoking.

Glad to hear you're off the analogs! It is wonderful hearing about people being on the butts so long and being able to kick the habit with ease! If you're looking for some hazelnuts flavors I definitely would suggest Lazarus Vintage No1 as it does provide a wonderful Hazelnut notes throughout the vape even though it doesn't have hazelnut in it.

As have I. But looking back, I don't think I want to anymore. :D

The thing is, unlike vaping most of us smoked one brand and that was it. I didn't like the popular Marlboro's or Camel's simply because they weren't my brand. Nothing wrong with 'em... just wasn't used to them.

But I've noticed the same isn't with e-juice. In fact it's the opposite for me. Can't get used to a single tobacco flavor. I started out with a juice I bought early on and swore it would be my all day vape. And it was for about a month. Can't stand the smell of it now.

Good luck with your tobacco quest Granny! :)
