Sometimes I think I vape more than I smoked. Analogs were 2-2 1/2 packs a day, but I don't really think so. It is expensive to get started and really get the things you need to stay analog free comfortably. But it is better for you. Tastes better, and feels good. I feel better, lungs are clear, don't cough, and have more energy.

Cheap price to pay.

I also buy buy buy when I need to save save save. I am also a recovering addict, and have been in recovery for a year now, I always find that money burns a hole in my pocket, so I've begun to view vaping as a hobby, rather than an addiction.

Because of our addictive personalities, it is very hard for us to say no to ourselves. I recently had to tape an affirmation to my laptop to keep me in line--it reads "moderation".

Sometimes I feel like I am in a no win situation. Here is my ticket to save money:( nope I spend more.
I too vape a lot more when I am at my computer. They just seem to go together. But then again I smoked a lot more when I was on my computer.
The thing that is most important now is that my health is improving. With MS it is already difficult to breathe, but adding cigs is just asking for more trouble.

I think I have been an addict since birth. At 5 I was my mothers bartender and she drank gin, yuck!!! :p:pBoth sides of my family where addicts. then of course I married one. With me I get over one addiction or obsession and start a new one.
I AM CURSED LOL:lol:

I know exactly what you mean. I love vaping and have quite the growing stash to prove it. Well, I spent 30 years smoking and am about to have 30 days without an analog. So I'll deal with it. But I am hoping to slow down on the purchasing at some point. Now though, with so many places trying to ban e-cigs, I feel like I need to keep stocking up. I have no intention of quitting vaping, no matter what the legal status of it is.

My very best friend in the world has MS too. Today she e-mailed me, "do those e-cigarette things really work?" Well, I have an eGo coming in the mail this week, maybe I'll mail one of my 510's to her.

Rosa thats such a nice thing for you to do for your friend. I discovered I had MS at age 17. Lets just say I am no spring chicken anymore. I have 3 wonderful grandchildren. (Well most of the time)
Talk about denial. I convinced myself that all my breathing problems were due to MS. MY daughter who is an RN didn't buy it.
After I switched to e-cigs I actually could breathe again. Still hard when I am tired, but nothing like before. No more running to the ER or inhalers. I guess it is really is worth the money:)
Also now I live on the computer, better than sitting alone feeling sorry for myself. Like that helps. NOT!!!!

wow, isn't 17 so young to find out you've got MS(i mean, doesn't it usually start up in your 20's?) My friend didn't start having symptoms until her mid 20's I think (suddenly her vision wasn't 20/20 anymore, then it was, then it wasn't) AND isn't it funny how we smokers will blame our symptoms on anything except the smoking? Not that long ago my dentist found an "unusual growth of abnormal cells" near the back of my throat and sent my to have a biopsy done on them. Strange thing number one is that I smoked all the way to the appointment (gargled before I went in-as if you can't smell the smoke all over me anyway) and strange thing number two: I never told anyone about it ever. Because I didn't want to worry them? NO. Because I didn't want to face the reality that I may actually have throat cancer? NO. It was because I didn't want them to tell me, "I told you so! Now you're going to quit smoking, right?" because the truth is I'm really not sure that I would have been able to quit anyway. Pretty dumb.

i'm about a week into it and already have 4 bottles of juice a pile of carts and just ordered another ecig starter kit (KR808d-1). my first one was the esmoke pro (E8) because it was the only one i could find that is the actual size of an analog and I thought that was going to be a big deal. i soon found out that its way too expensive and the cart and battery life on it sucks.

The worst the is I had already quit smokeing for a month but im a gadget freak and these have a battery, led and micro chip in them so I had to get one.

my other "hobbies" have now been set aside.

So I definitely can relate. I find myself vaping just to see if the cart/liquid is running out yet, or just to blow smoke rings, or test the battery life. I think I vape more just for the heck of it versus actually having a nic fit 8-o

yeah, I'm hearing a lot of people saying they keep some 0mg juice around just for that purpose - I think that's going on my next order, since I got this thing it's been attached to my lip like a growth with a glowing purple light on the end.
