How is it working for you? I hope it is is helping. For me it does the trick but not as fast as a cig. I remember you offering to send 1 to Kenny.
For me it is working fine - no clogged cartos or issues with thickness I was expecting - it has a subtle taste to me even though it is unflavored. I guess this is the just the natural flavor of VG but I am not sure. I am not qualified to speak to the effect WTA has to kill the urge to smoke though. I smoked cigarettes back (way back) in High School and off an on for some years after, but when I got married and had kids I no longer could (or wanted to) smoke in the house so the habit died of natural causes many years ago.

I enjoy a cigar and pipe, and even the occasional social cigarette if I am out with a friend who smokes, but it isn't an every day or even an every week thing for me. When a relative let me try his e-cig (he had a Blu and a no name 510 type retail item) I thought they were neat. I picked one (Blu) up since I could vape the car and at home without any complaints but never used it enough to get through the five pack of cartridges.

Then I found this site and discovered vaping is similar to another passion of mine - coffee. Here is my loose analogy:

The Blue is the instant coffee of the e-cig world.
Chinese flavors are the Folgers of the e-cig world.
Boutique vendors (like WholeCig and some other favorites) are like the Counter Culture, Stumptown, and Intelligentsia of the coffee world. These vendors are on the cutting edge of their craft and provide most improvements in product quality in their fields of expertise.

Comparing gas station equipment to a decent VV/VW mod is like comparing a Mr Coffee brewer (inefficient but works on a base level) compared to a brewer like a Technivorm that offers precise temp control and even flavor regulation but is pricey relative to the Mr Coffee. You get what you pay for.

Prepping flavors through steeping or selecting the PG/VG ratio or type of atomizer based on the demands of the flavor is like grinding coffee beans at home vs buying pre-ground - the experience will be better for the effort.

Another coffee hobby similarity matches up with the DIY/modder community - I have been roasting my own coffee for a while and now I am beginning experimenting with mixing e-liquids. Like roasting, the early attempts are not much to write home about but learning the process is half the fun!

:)

Your name's not Todd, is it? :D That's a great series "Dangerous Grounds" and I was thrilled to read there will be a second season with him and "Hollywood"

What a wonderful analogy!! I like the way you think. I believe the flavor you are tasting in the WTA is the WTA and not the VG. Plain BY doesn't taste lime that. I didn't lime it at first but I got used to it quickly and font mind it at all. Given a choice tho I vape bakery stuff. I began with V2' s red but then I found milkshakes and cookies and that was the end of the tobacco flavors for me.

I bought five bottles but one went to a forum member here on the house with a promise to sell two more to that member if the juice does the trick - I bought only two that I can really call my own if it works like it should...

:)

I hope I didn't insinuate anything with my post. Buying several bottles makes the most sense so you don;t have to keep paying shipping evrrytime another batch goes up. I was mainly referring to a time before JF has to slow down due to the move, and thus, only has a limited amount of 30s.

The shipping does get expensive for a 10ml

I imagine that's still several days away and likely to be a smaller offering. That said, I will not hesitate to pull the trigger even though I hope as many as possible are able to get theirs in without someone else hogging.

God, once I look at it, now you got me thinking I might be one of the hogs. I got 4 bottles the first time and 5 the other, but I gave 3 away postage paid by me (excluding the bottle of "The WC" flavored which I can't vape). I also have a couple more coming. I didn't order when there was only like 4 left though. It was when there was like 16 and I didn't think the overall supply would be this thin. I thought at the time that it was only Mann and myself ordering. I didn't know that the following would grow this big and this quick.

I'm just trying to be honest here. Even though this is the only juice I vape (can't stand the flavors now) and I really need WTA (the only thing that works for me), community is more important to me. I have 4 left as of right now. If someone is desperate let me know.

If I hogged, I apologize.

I so wish I hadn't posted that about someone "hogging" [inserts foot into mouth]. I was mostly speaking in jest and not at all speaking to anyone around here. After all, virtually everyone that has wanted some has gotten some.

That said, the gloves come off when the 30s go up for sale.

Well, I admit that I'm frustrated. I started vaping a little less than 2 months ago, and almost immediately experienced a sore throat that hasn't gone away. Having no idea what was in my store-bought "refill filters" for the Smoke51 e-cigs, I started refilling these with 80/20 juice. Still have the sore throat, and anything I eat feels like is getting stuck in my throat. Also have a rash on my arms which is annoying. I think that 100% VG WTA will be my savior, which as I understand, means I have to get the DIY. You have no idea how tempting regular cigs are looking right now.

Whoa, back off from that last sentence. You don't really want to do that and think about how bad it would feel if you smoked a cig with that sore throat! ECF is here to help, one way or the other. There's a lot of knowledgeable people on here.

Let me ask if you tried 100% VG of any juice? And yes, 100% VG WTA is IMHO about as neutral as you can get. You would be eliminating PG and flavors.

Could I have been any more of a whiner? BLECH! Sorry!!

You're right, of course! I've read so many comments such as yours that my problem could likely solved with the DIY WTA, and just recently that flavors might also cause problems. I'm also having analog withdrawals today, which has me ***GRUMPY***. I'll work on my bad attitude... :)

Don't worry about the grumpiness. It comes with the territory. I know!
I certainly would be a bit worried too if I had a sore throat and a rash on my arms. The wise person might even advise you to see a doctor if this has been going on for 2 months. My question remains to ask you if you tried 100% VG of any juice? Especially one with a very light flavor like a tea or something. There still might be a little PG in the flavor (fairly common from what I understand) but it will be mostly VG. This could be one of the quickest things to try, as you can order some and have it in a few days. 100% DIY WTA isn't in full swing yet and you have to watch the site and get in on the ordering. It goes fast.

I'd try some 100% VG with light organic flavoring first (quickest) and watch the site for the 100% WTA. Let me know how you make out. If the regular 100% VG doesn't help I might be able to get you some WTA if you can't from the site.

Oops, I did miss your question on 100% VG. Nope, I haven't tried that yet, but did put in an order for some on both MBV and Aroma ejuice (with WTA but flavored). I hadn't yet read that I should also avoid flavors when I ordered these. Where could I find light organic flavoring in 100% VG?

Hint to see a doc is well taken, and I very much appreciate the offer to help get the WTA. But I think Kenny's case sounds much more extreme than mine, so let's make sure he's taken care of... :)

I'd try the 100% VG first. Eliminate PG as the culprit. I believe I've read that PG offends many more people than flavoring does.
There are a ton of people who know a ton more about flavors than me. I am a non-flavor person. Weird huh? I might suggest that you post in the E-Liquid forum. Mention that you might have a problem with PG (or re-state your actual symptoms) and that you are looking for a juice with 100% VG with a very light flavor. You will get a ton of suggestions I'm sure. I guess there is the DIY route where you can just buy 100% VG base at a specific nic level but I know even less about that so I don't really want to suggest it but you might ask that also.

I have a feeling that Kenny has gotten more than the juice I sent him so hopefully, and I mean hopefully, this has done the trick for him. It's nice of you to be considerate of his situation.

Don't forget to watch the WholeCig site. I believe there will be one more offering of DYI 100% unflavored WTA before things close down for awhile for relocation of facilities. You have to be quick though, I know people are watching. Anything good is worth watching and being patient for.;)
