I just want to go on record as saying that I have many friends in this thread and irrespective of how things pan out between them, I am neutral (when I can be).

See, I have lost friends in issues with vendors before and it was upsetting to me. Basically, because I questioned a certain vendor (actually a few vendors), that in turn ...... off fellow consumers of that vendor that were formerly friends of mine. I am not saying this is the same situation, but I know that not all things can ever be totally understood without both parties speaking on the matter--and sometimes it still won't tell the whole story. I just want it to be known that I consider JF a friend and that customer. That doesn't mean that I totally get what happened and why, but I know what it feels like to have either done something wrong, been misinterpreted for doing what I thought was legit, or a little bit of both.

You have every right to do so and I respect your choice.

spruce = spouse in my earlier post (curse you spellcheck!). Just saying.

Part of me says that a return policy is really lovely. Another part of me says "what are you thinking?!" because this is a really subjective industry when you get to liquids. More so when we throw in WTA. My suggestion would be a reasonably priced sample of the WTA with a lower shipping price that people can test the waters with and a return policy that is a bit stricter on the regular size bottles. The one up side to a different return policy is it will give you more room to exceed expectations. A well solved problem is one of the best marketing tools you can have.

Also, looking at the site it looks as if your changing to selling flavorless with the option to order flavoring on top of that. But I can't quite be sure that is where your headed or no.

I agree with southern. (BTW-I hate the spell check too). I just ordered several wta juices from another vendor (sorry jfresh, but I need to try it to help ME with my not smoking - and you're not up and running yet) and paid a lot of money for them. I don't know whether I'm going to like it or not, whether I'll be able to vape it or not, whether it will 'agree' with me or not. It might be great...or I might have to toss it. BUT, as I said before, it's a consumable, it's a choice I made and will have to live with - whether good or bad!

It's like going into the grocery store, buying a new item to fix for dinner, hating it, then going back the next day and saying, "that really tasted terrible...I want my money back".

Sure - I would've LOVED the opportunity to buy a sample pack (like many vendors offer). It would have cost me a little more per ml, but the initial layout just to TRY this would've been less and, if I didn't like it, it would've been a lot less money down the drain.

So my recommendation would also be to protect your profit margins (I had several businesses for a very long time and know that's the only way you can survive), and cover yourself with a very specifically worded return policy for your consumables. It's wonderful to be the 'good guy', but it's hard to stay in business that way!

Just my opinion!

And to anyone knocking a company based on its size alone...remember Monsanto and Halliburton are about as big as you can get, and that certainly isn't any inherent endorsement of their products or practices. I personally prefer to do business with a company that is run by a certifiable human being when possible. The buck stops here...exactly here. Quality matters to us, customer satisfaction and safety are paramount precisely because we are normal, everyday people with conscience and integrity. Grocery store shelves are filled with poison and garbage, all nicely packaged and "apparently" safe. My two cents.

I prefer to do business with smaller companies, it's just more personal & in this day and age, personal every now &
Then is nice!

Hey Jesser, how's it going? I re-read your post (your first WC WTA vape) last night and got to wondering how things have been working...

Hey Jesser, how's it going? I re-read your post (your first WC WTA vape) last night and got to wondering how things have been working...

Things have been going fairly good, the 1st 2 days were great, then I had some hardware issues yest & during those issues spent the day with smokers so I was not good, but I'm restarting today & things are going ok again, only 2 stinkies & still loving WC WTA, it just really makes a difference.

I think I have a real emotional attachment to analogs, so I'm just going at it slowly & every time I think I "need" to have one I sit down with my wta & remind myself while I am vaping how much better this is for my health.

I'll get there eventually & again thank you all for your support & information & great juice! :)

Yes when I can keep everyone straight. Lol. I was giving a warning about her so I kind of had my eye peeled. I knew immediately who did it

Maybe you should worry about keeping yourself straight.

The member you are discussing has given tons to this community, in treasure chests, in freebies sent to others in need, in every program here for those in need, and a ton of behind-the-scenes giving.

As a matter of fact, she picked up extras in each order from WholeCig to give to others and sent out many PMs for weeks, to those who might find WTA helpful and who didn't get a chance to order any. . (thus drumming up business for this vendor in the process.)

And while you're at it, Lori, maybe it's time to come clean. You were one of the people offered a FREE 10ml bottle by this member, weren't you?

Interesting that you didn't mention this in your "selfish" rant. And despite her kind offer to you, you seem to have no conscience in your bloodthirstyness to gossip and go after this member who extended such kindness to you.

Do you have any idea how hurtful that is?

As a matter of fact, I could probably drag 20+ people over here who have been on the *receiving end* of her many kindnesses.......all for free........and I could drag 20 more who will be on the recieving end of stuff she is giving away now, stuff people would and could sell in the classies for actual $$$.

.......but I won't. Because I doubt they would want to be hanging around inside of this DRAMA that you obviously need to indulge in.

I also really have to question why a registered vendor on ECF would even start a topic ABOUT a former customer.....it's very unprofessional. What goes on behind the scenes of your business and your "problems" is airing "dirty laundry" isn't it?

I never see these kinds of posts from the top vendors in their vendor topics, they are too busy sending out products and being successful and professional.

Sorry racehorse, I have no dogs in this hunt and I don't know how valuable or not the person in question is..or was to this community because I don't know who it was. But I know tacky when I see it and placing 3 orders knowing people were waiting in what amounts to a virtual line only to return them due to "quantity she ordered" and having them all go to waste falls under tacky. Over spending is a problem but it should never be the vendors problem.

Edit-By the way screaming at us in bold text and going after someone else is hardly going to put you in any better light than the person your trying to strike out at.

Yes she did offer me a bottle..
.

I was just wondering why you never brought that up. Actually, I'm not really wondering. :) Of course you wouldn't.

One of the reasons that her actions are so very disappointing

Based on 3rd-hand he-said-she-said post when you are not even privy to the actual correspondences, this person has "disappointed" you? Wow.

(and which is none of your business anyway, though this vendor decided it was, and decided to post about his problems and his customers right out into the open of this community.) That is just running with gossip, and creating gossip and bad feelings, isn't it?

Nor did I post her name, enlarged text, or bolded.

No, instead you made it quite clear that you were snooping around doing "detective work" and "keeping everybody staight" and then posted about how the member is selling stuff in the classies......in other words, you are engaging in gossiping and snooping ......

....but feel free to continue with your judgements, since it seems to be rather a delightful and much-indulged commodity here in this particular vendor's topic. :)

See ya! Heading off to vendor topics where the vendors don't air their dirty laundry online, or start snarky threads about their customers.
Have a nice day!

Leave of the vendor in his thread racehorse. He asked our opinion of his return policy and we gave it.

No, he used the forum to verbally bash an EFC forum member and one of his customers.

If he simply wanted an opinion about his return policy, he could have simply asked for that. :)

There's no rush and no pressure. Just make sure you have your safety net handy. ;) Running out of juice or having gear issues is what always used to mess me up. Eventually that was the furthest thing from an issue.

Hey everybody!

Let's move on, shall we? I appreciate everybody's input and advice, and especially the link to the shrink wrap toppers...but, don't wish to cause any hostility towards anyone, I feel none myself, and recognize the wording of my return policy was largely at fault...thanks for the advice on that as well...

Like I said before, not a big deal, just something that needed to be addressed to avoid such problems in the future...and maybe I shouldn't have shared the situation at all, but I was mind-boggled by it and I do value our current customer's opinions (so much of what we've done right so far has been taking advice straight from customer suggestions)...so, I felt free to ask. I meant no harm, and certainly didn't name anyone...

Racehorse...I think you earlier wished us well...I thanked you...along with everyone else, for your opinion...how about we leave it at that? Seems like we covered it pretty well, no?

Anyway....
About to go do some bottling...thinking we'll have some 10mls and 30mls available later this evening!

Hey JF, do you happen to have any tobacco absolute on hand? Honestly, the only reason why I am asking is becasue I think, I repeat, think that I may dabble in DIYing after awhile. The EM crystals ended up working out pretty well and I think I may have gotten bit with the bug. ;)
