I hope I'm in the correct forum for this. I bought a Protank Mini (the old model, they said) from a B&M. Also, online, I bought a Mini Protank 2 kit having an extra atty. Earlier I bought a 5-pack of attys online. So, in total, I have 7 attys. The one that came installed in the Mini Protank 2, had a marking of 2.2 (ohms). None of the other 6 are marked, at all. Is that signifying that they are 1.8 (which is what I ordered), or did I buy some cheap cr*p that is of unknown resistance? Photos show the small box they came in, loosely packed.

While we do have many threads on clearos and tanks that are used by eGos, this forum is more for the battery types or the eGo systems.

There is a forum for clearomizers here:

Clearomizers

That said, there are markings for ohms on the protank and mini protank coils on the 'short end' of the coil unit:

However very early Kanger units didn't have them, and there are a lot of clones that don't. Anything current by Kanger should have the ohms markings though.

Here's the shipping notice I got by email:

Thank you for shopping with ((((((deleted by OP))))))

This automated e-mail serves as confirmation that your order has been shipped.

Shipping Summary
----------------

Invoice #: 0000001129

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Qty | Item # | Description | Date Shipped | Tracking #
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 | 2014400 | Kanger Protank 1 & 2 and EVOD Coil | |
| Replacement 5 Pack
ohm: 1.8ohm

But, apparently "Kanger" is not what I got from them. Right?

Edit: Sorry for the wrong forum post - I didn't even know I was using a "clearomizer". ;-)

No problem. Kanger boxes will have a scratch-off area under which is the serial number of the item. That can be checked here:

KangerTech US Electronic Cigarettes - Kanger Official Website

If no serial number then chances are it's a fake.

You can buy directly from Kanger US here:

KangerTech US Electronic Cigarettes - Kanger Official Website

There are many authorized vendors for Kanger. sun-vapers.com is one. The Kanger site says fasttech sells fake Kangers.
