Why are other's KR808 kits so low in price?

just curious, I'm wondering if other vendors have lower quality model or something? Not sure if I want to get carts from V9 or not, though I plan on getting my KR from Ben most likely, still looking at vendors. I did notice that V9 does offer manual batteries in the kit, but so does Puresmoker and they're like 20 bucks less, so was just curious.

Vendors prices are going to be different for many different reasons. Some, maybe because they're just charging you a higher premium. But you hafta consider the price they're getting them at, which can be based on how many units they order at a time, for example. Their overhead, which is different in every situation, etc.

Some vendors have lower quality products and charge more; some have lower quality products and charge less. There's really nothing to be gained by asking why one is cheaper than 'that guys'--but you might ask if there's anything about the units themselves that are different. And don't forget to factor in customer service and warranties--those things make a big difference, especially in this business.

Fairly good answer Belletrist. :) But IMO....Ben's Turbos carts really are higher quality then the super cheapies....like say the 50 for $50 deal you get from Chinese suppliers. Okay...it's $1 each,,,,plus $16 maybe more for shipping.....and then hoping yur order doesn't get stopped in Customs. And even if you get your order...I can tell you from personal experience...there is no comparison between the $1 a piece cartos and Bens Turbos. What , you ask, are the differences???? Ohm rating for one....Bens Turbos have a higher Ohm rating...making them run a little cooler at 3.7volts. Capacity...Turbo carts hold easily 25 to 30 drops of juice...that is probably a conservative statement. Service...if you order Turbo carts from Ben and are truly unhappy or recieve what you think is a faulty product .....Ben will make it right...instantly. No waiting for weeks while you try and hash it out with a vendor half way across the globe. And finally....
Ben is just the sweetest cutest guy out there :) He's single btw....so if you live in Florida or anywhere close....:D

Not that it justifies the higher price entirely, but the button on my nebula has a rubberized finish and is slightly taller than the regular kr808 manual with its flimsy little plastic button. When I was using stock batteries, the nebula was my favorite one.

It doesn't fit into the screw-in wall charger that another popular vendor sells because the button sticks out too much, btw. I used the USB plug-in charger for it.

we have a good product and stand behind it in the case something goes wrong.. got a battery problem and we'll take care of it. The bargain vendors give you a 14 day warranty.. I guess this works for a lot of people..pay less, no guarantee besides DOA..if something goes wrong just buy another.. We don't really have a limit-just mention it that you need a battery on your order and we'll take care of you.

ayup....I can attest to that....I ordered a Nebula and it did not perform the way I thought it should. Got 2 in return. Now I'm not saying that will always happen...but I'm a repeat customer and Ben knows he can trust me not to wolfpack him on the forum. If I have a problem I go straight to him....and he fixes it. Plus...I have a single,27year old daughter with bright red hair and a degree in electronics.:D

Seriously....theres a couple guys out there who are now selling attys and batteries with or without the warrenty...you want it cheap? fine...don't complain if it's doa....you want a warrenty....you pay a couple dollars more depending on how long the warrenty is.

So basicly although things may look the same the quality can be very different. And you pay for top notch customer service no matter what your buying....e-cigs...cars..whatever.

oh yeah....I realized that after I made the post Bell....I have cartos on the brain lately. :)

The only thing I have bought from Ben has been the cartos that are on sale and I have to say that I really like them. They last, juice wise, just as long, if not longer, than other suppliers' cartos do. I have gotten a couple of what I think are turbo cartos from the PIF group and so far I like them a lot. How do you tell if it is a turbo carto anyway? In fact, I've got one loaded with AC right now and I'm loving it.

Is it common for them to hold 40-50 drops without being overfilled and leaking juice into your mouth? I'm talking big drops too.

Yes Jules...they hold ALOT!

And if your talking about Turbo carts from Vapornine...they will say Vapornine around the bottom. And the very newest ones will have be black and have a white "racing stripe" around the bottom of them...and also say Vapornine.

I have only bought the blanks....so which flavors did you buy? I was actually thinking of buying some prefilled ones but have never used any cartos with tobacco flavored juice so don't even know what the flavors are. 555...? never tried it. Which ones do you like?

OK, I do have a couple of the turbos then. The ones I got were empty so I have only filled one using atomic cinnicide (sorry about mentioning another vendor) It literally held 50 drops the first time I filled it! I was amazed! I used the fill and spin method. I seem to flood them if I use the cap fill method or the syringe.

The ones that are on the clearance section, I've had the raspberry, caramel bean macchiato and the toffee. I have really liked all of them. On the toffee ones, Ben said he thought they tasted like a Pina Colada but I dont' get that from them. I dont' get toffee either but I know I like it,lol I will be ordering more of all of them when my next allowance kicks in,lol

I will be placing an order for the turbo ( lots of good reviews )
Are the pre-filled cartomizers PG or VG?
I would also like your worldclass juice, but need to know if its VG or PG.
I need 100% VG.

thanks

Jojo...what would you like to know? I'll try and help you if I can.
I know how time consuming and frustrating it is to try and search through the forum! You can post here or PM me...either way is fine.

okay...I'll just go ahead and give it a go anyway:

The cartos on sale for $7 are the older style, prefilled with Dekang juice cartos. That means the caps are hard and glued on. The resistance is a little lower which means they run a little hotter at 3.7volts...meaning on a standard KR808 battery. There's nothing "wrong" with them and if you like that style carto the price can't be beat.

There are some first run turbo carts for sale with the hard caps. It will say in the desciption that they have the hard cap. They are bigger so hold more juice, and the resistance is higher so they run a little cooler. Most people find the Turbos last longer and may tend to burn the filling less. But we didn't like em because of the hard caps. So....

The "new" Turbos have a soft rubber cap and no glue. Otherwise they are the same as the other Turbos. The cap can be taken off with your fingernail..no tools required. :) The blanks sell out fast but Ben trys to keep them restocked. Many people including myself feel they are the best quality KR808 cartos out there so far. Some people charge a dollar less....others a dollar more....but Ben offers 1st class shipping which for me evens out the price to be as low as anyone you'll find.

Hope that helps!

would like to add my 2 cents as well. Sorry its way more than 2 cents i just re read this.
I started vaping sept 09 and started with a 3 piece and few weeks later quickly changed over to cartos from that other place. you know who i mean and they are good people no complaints. anyway back to Ben. So i have used many diff cartos from many diff venders. then these new cartos came out. That other company had it first so i tried theres. i was happy with it but seen they werent made so well. Then other suppliers started getting them. i tried theirs to only to find they were all different. some better than others and some that were just pure crap. Then i found Ben and he was introducing Turbos with hard cap i think it was hard cap. anyway i missed that sale as they were sold out. so waited for next batch of turbos. I ordered 4 boxes so 20 turbo cartos. i quickly opened 1 up and looked inside. i could see the difference i tell ya. the filler was tighter and you could fill more in it than 30 drops. anyway i started vaping it. fantastic. and believe it or not i am still on that same carto to this day today. so how long is that? 6 weeks i forgot. I still have 19 brand new cartos in the box from Vapornine. so what does this tell you. Now mind you i use other cartos the 510 cartos and i also use atomizers on my mods. I have vaped the Turbos at 3.7v and also at 6 v on my mod and if vaping at 6 v you only press the button for 1 sec and you will be fine. but they work just fine at 3.7v and i get great vapor and good TH. but sometimes i want more TH thats when i fire up the 6volt mod.
anyway sorry for being so long. Like Lorikay said these turbos are the the best. BTW i just took ohm reading and i got 30 and 31. and i deducted he internal resistance so thats what i got. These turbos are better than the others imo. I wish Ben would come out with a 510 turbo cartomizer then i would buy them here.
These are trully very well made cartos. also may i add do not try to put 40 to 50 drops in these. i know you can but just do 30 to 35 max. vape it awhile and then top off. try to not vape them all the way til empty. so after vaping for for an hr or 2 or 3 top off with few drops. do it this way and yours will last long time. i clean mine about every 5 to 6th time. all i do is run hot water in the carto mouthpiece. of course take out rubber piece ) i keep blowing it out adding hot water blowing it out. i do this up to about 10 times til i see nice and white and clean filler. Thats all i do and my cartos last a long time. some companies do not last long at all maybe just a few fills. all according to quality. Bens turbos filler is wrapped nice and tight. other companies filler is loose to very loose. you can see when you take out mouthpiece.
im going on and on here. just do not want people to buy the wrong things. so to end this i will say again these Turbos are the way to go. Dont make a fuss over them too much. just vape it clean when necessary then vape again. lot of people spend more time cleaning than vaping cause they love to make things hard on themselves. just enjoy these. again sorry for extra long post. i hope i didnt piss anyone off and if i did what can i say lol
Happy Vaping

Cos, that's a great write up! I too love the turbos but I'm not getting the kind of run that you are out of them. But I just opened a fresh one last night and I think I'll try your routine this time and see how long I can use one.

I'm curious, do you only use one flavor in this carto? If so, do you mind saying what flavor it is? I've been struggling with a particular flavor (custom mix) clogging up cartos pretty badly. I'm working on finding different flavorings for this mix that will keep the taste but with less coloring in the flavorings to hopefully avoid this.

Lairkeeper sorry been busy and not on forums so sorry for belated answer to your question. anyway i will pm you who i get my liquid from because its not right to post another supplier on Bens forum. even though im sure he wouldnt mind. he is such a nice guy lol. but gotta have respect for the kid. sorry Ben your a kid to me i am 59. anyway back to business.
Lair i use mostly tobacco flavors in the turbos but i mix the tobacco flavors for example i might add some black cherry to virginia. I also just added some of Bens new flavor he sent out as samples to one of my tobacco flavors. it was great. i did a about a 85% tobacco and 15% Bens new secret flavor and i got my tobacco flavor with a hint of Bens stuff.
also the liquid i use is kind of thick too but it never clogged my cartos. But after a while it did start to clog the wick on my attys for example i use the RN306 esposed atty. so i have to clean the atty every 2 weeks or so or even every week.
so tell me how are your cartos clogging up. do you think cause the liquid is too thick? i have put in some pretty thick liquid and rea;lly never had a problem. If you think its too thick you can add some PG to it to make it thinner. as far as cleaning out the cartos even with using heavy liquid i would still clean them out about every 5th time. Hope this helps. i will pm you now and tell you who i get my liquids from. any more questions just ask or pm me anytime.
