Exact copy in the sense that it looks the same or performs the same? I think that might be why parked took issue to that comment.

I have used the KR-108 penstyle. You can get it from e-Puffer, Jane's and Katy S. And I hear that LitecigUSA stopped carrying the superior Joy-302s and now have KR-108s, too. It's about a third tier e-cig, a bit behind Puresmoker or Njoy. The atomizer is a little underpowered compared to most penstyles, but still more than most minis; about a 4 at best on vapor. Battery life is typical, but the batteries have a lightly built, slightly flimsy feeling to them, and the LEDs are dim. They don't wick as well as most, either, and are best if dripped.

I know this is an old post but I have some info. I bought my 808 from Smoke Free and my husband and I hated it. We get 2 puffs with vapor and then nothing for a few minutes, then 2 more puffs. I e-mailed today and told Denise that after a week we weren't going to stay with it and she said to mail the whole kit and spare parts back including the used juice for a full refund. Maybe the product needs work but the customer service was great! We have ordered 2 901's. Here's hoping they are better.

I also bought an e-cig (my first) through be-smokefree.com, a KR-808A model. I had similar experiences to MaryKay where I would get about two puffs of vapor, then nothing (and even those puffs didn't produce much vapor). Even dripping didn't seem to do that much. Eventually, I hit a bit of a sweet spot, almost as if the atomizer needed a bit of breaking in, or I had a decent cartridge. I also had luck if I would take some puffs, then unscrew the atomizer from the battery then screwed it back in... Still, it didn't perform all that well, but I didn't really realize it until I tried an NJoy Pro that a friend had bought from a Smokers Friendly here in Denver. I was amazed at the difference. Particularly, in the cartridges of the KR-808A, it seemed like there was a flimsy gauze with a bit of plastic attached to it. The Njoy, however, seemed to have more cloth (or thicker gauze) and it definitely had more taste. I bought a Njoy today and its still charging, but I like the idea I can pay with cash on hand for cartridges instead of charging supplies to a card and waiting for them to ship.

That being said, be-smokefree.com has great customer service. One of the two batteries I received from them died and they immediately replaced it. However, they might have picked a bad model to sell in the KR-808A. I'll still keep the KR-808A as a backup model or to use at work, but I'll see how the Npro does at helping me kick the analog habit. The KR-808A just wasn't all that friendly for reading a book and smoking with... more of a work break e-cigarette.
