I have a Trident that I've had sitting around that I tried to build on when I first got it and ended up with a 4/5 dual coil made of 26ga that kept coming out to like 5 ohms. So I shelved it. Pulled it back out today and tried to build on it and got similar ohmage and it kept jumping around, 3ohms, 8 ohms, etc... Tried building a single coil, got like 10 ohms, 8 ohms, 2 ohms on and on. Thought maybe it was the multimeter so I put other tanks and rdas on it and got accurate stable readings. Put the trident on my sub ox and got 0.4 stable. Put it back on the multimeter, fooled around with the coil, the excess wire, it was going from 0.6 to 5 to 8 etc. even when I let it just sit it was jumping around.

Anybody that knows this stuff better than me why that would be happening? Im kinda not wanting to vape on this build til I find out why its doing that

Sounds like a bad connection somewhere. Is the atty making good contact with your mod? If so, your coil might have a lose connection on one of the posts. What excess wire are you referring to?
I thought that too, but Ive tightened them down, done 3 or 4 different builds, still doesnt stay stable on the multimeter...
