Why are unregistered suppliers banned from just about everthing?

Ok so after some more reading it appears I never recieved the e-mail that has the registration paperwork. I have been stuck in limbo for a while.

Can someone send me the info so I can get the ball rolling? I need to pm a few suppliers as soon as possible.
