ok, so i got my provari yesterday afternoon and i few things that i love about this thing

1. after watching countless videos people like to complain about the heft and length of this thing with the extended cap on it... well i have large hands, and this thing is perfect in my hands, i actually could have stood for it to be a little thicker. my saber touch was heavier than this
2. never having to question my attys/cartos any more, the built in ohms check and battery checker are a god send, i have had other VV mods in the past the screw drivers, and screw in voltage meters were a pain and i went away from VV
3. the bottom line is, i love this thing, same hits every time, battery life has yet to let me down, i have nothing negative to say about this, it fixes everything i hated about VV mods in the past, removes the need for me to have a multi meter, and all around it feels sturdy in my hands, i feel as tho if i happened to drop it, it would be ok.

provape made a top notch product, i was worried about the money it costs, but my mind was quickly put at ease. best money spent on vapeing thus far

Just got mine in the mail today, wow, what a difference!
Been using it with my eGo tanks and EMDCCs and love it(got the eGo adapter, 3 batteries). I think it gives a lot more flavor and vapor and I can actually enjoy some juice that has some PG in it, I could never stand the taste of almost anything with PG in it before. Vaping some greenhouse one honey flavor juice with EMDCC at 3.8 volts.

Now what do I do with my eGo batts?

I love it because it makes a HUGE difference. I went from an eGo with Dual Coils to a ProVari.

On my ProVari I run a DCT MAP tank with a 2.5ohm Dual Coil Carto running at 5v and it is purely amazing. i can take it up to 6v on this setup but i found 5v is very nice. I will try 6v eventually.

I also use 1.5ohm Dual Coils at 4.2v and this setup is VERY nice as well. For some reason my carto is reading at 1.6ohms and i am able to vape at 4.2v and i don't know why being that the ProVari is supposed to only let you go up to 2.5 amps. 1.6x2.5=4v so I'm not sure why I can vape at 4.2v with no E2 code popping up but i love it.

The biggest thing is the “WOW” of the Provari. What I mean is…. The technical spec’s are great, as the possibility of variable voltage, no voltage drop in the performance when the battery gets empty, the built-in excessive over-current protection, stainless steel , sturdy, solid build, etc.

But the spec’s can not explain the “wow” of the performance of the Provari. I even don’t know what is responsible for the wow, but It is there. Let me try to explain it further: Normally I use Provari at 5.5 V. With several other (top-end) devices on 6.0 V full charged battery…. both the throathit and taste are not so well. When I go with these devices at 6.4 or 6.5 V full charged battery or accu, the throathit is almost as good at 5,5V, but the taste is not so well as on Provari with same cart and juice. With Provari on 5,5 V I get good throathit and much better taste on 5,5 V; a performance with “WOW”’. Can you explain it? I can’t. Now, for me, life sucks a bit without the wow-vapes of Provari.

I have done the comparison with two other big names in the PV world, not with all, so it can be that there are more devices as Provari that perform with wow. But, don't need to search further because Provari is in my honoust opinion a top device and worth every penny.

I'm loving my Provari...other than the safety features, the easy menu, checking the voltage, power, atty/carto resistance, etc....I can put any atty or carto on, adjust it to 'taste' and enjoy the vape. each draw is as good as the first. would i trade it for another? hell no... there will be others down the road, the latest and greatest, but I wouldn't trade my Provari for anything...hell, I'm ready for another one...

The ProVari wasn't my first rodeo, in terms of variable voltage vaping. But, it's definitely my favorite device, by far.

I love it because:

-Portability- I take it to school, work, and well, anywhere I choose to vape :vapor:
-Function- How awesome is it to have a device that can tell you the resistance of your atty/carto?
-Ergonomic- It just feels right in the hand.
-Use time- I can get a whole day of vaping on a 1600mAh 18650. Tell me that's not awesome.

There is, of course, more to it. These are just some of my favorite features to the device :)

It makes me look smart. Witness all of the people with hundreds of dollars worth of mods who lament that they can't afford a ProVari. Everybody wants one, I have two.

LMAO I know what you are talking about. Several people with like 12 different mods, but somehow can't afford a single Provari... Always get a kick out of it.

I am using a homemade box mod right now that costed less than $4 to build . It's all I have. I could've afforded several mods by now, but I saved for the ONE mod that I want and know I will love.

I was starting to use DCT's as of late and have wanted to go back to dripping. Some of my DC were getting too much juice inside the inner tube and making the intake gurgly. I got the Provari last friday and have had fun trying out all my old favorites and some new since I no longer have to worry about figuring out what batteries to use. Right now I am rocking a 510 atty with a drip shield and ming tip and it is awesome at 4.4v. It just looks so much better than my other mods also.

I use a pro-vari and lately have been thinking about getting a tank for it but am still confused about all the terminology.. whats a DCT? What's dripping?

thx

DCT = Dual Coil Tank, i.e. a tank specifically designed for dual coil cartomizers
Dripping = using a drip tip and atomizer to drip liquid directly onto the coil, instead of cartridges or cartomizers that use filler material. In general you get a much more pronounced, truer flavor, although many argue that it is more of a hassle because you have to add about 3 drips every 5 or 6 drags.

All said so well!! It handles everything I have and it makes my vaping life so much easier - it tells me everything I need to know! Batt life - awesome. Like others, I was getting frustrated with the performance on my Riva's, Ego VV's etc. - and I'm not into continuous spending for equipment. I just want something that works well all the time. If I would have purchased a Provari to begin with - I'd have saved myself alot of $$. I went full on - got the extended cap - the 2 year warranty. I'm doing alot of traveling and have had zero probs - but looking at cases to protect it. What's not to love? :D

I've read many say the ProVari is not the unit to start out vaping with. I went the route of the majority and bought the little look Like's a cig, and then longer of those. Then the eGo came along, had at least a dozen of those. Next the Riva, now another doz. I purchased my first ProVari during the Pre Order, received it by Christmas. I couldn't have started with the ProVari, cause it didn't exist when I started. But, I'd been money ahead if it had been. God Save the Queen, and tell a beginner to get a ProVari. . .it'll save um at least a half grand. JMHO

Cheers,
otrpu
