Why does 1 Tank seem to run hotter than my other?

I have 2 sub ohm tanks, the Melo and the Atlantis. For sum reason when I'm chain vaping the Melo seems to get Hot a lot faster than the Atlantis. My mod isent all that great bought it from e cig pros, but its good up to 30 watts and can run from .3 to 1 ohm. Im using what I think are good batteries 30 to 35 amps. The Melo should be perfect its rated for 20 to 30 watts?

More than likely because of differences in designs between the two and they dissipate heat.

Your prob. right. The Melo seems to work pretty well most of the time. I get a little gurgling with the higher PG liquids, but it is really cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

Assuming the coil resistances are the same then it has to be mechanical design and how they dissipate heat.
Possibly related to airflow differences?

The Melo is a little tighter of a draw than the Atlantis, but they are both pretty wide open. Both of them are also reading .6 ohms.
