I wish that I could help, but I agree, every cherry eliquid that I've tried tastes like cough syrup and I've given up looking.
I went against past experience with cherry flavors and ordered Ahlusion Contrary Cherry.
If Ahlusion can't do it, nobody can!

I feel ya!! I won't even taste cherry (friends or B & M) I am afraid to. Hard to get that cough syrup taste out of my nose!

flavor west has an awesome maraschino cherry, tastes just like the juice in a jar of M C, that you get from the store
I haven't had it in a while, but Cherry Bomb from Heathers Heavenly Vapes was great!!

This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but it is really good. Slartibartfast from Vapor Chef. It's cherry tobacco and tastes exactly like it is decribed on the site. It may have a bit of a narrow window for optimal cherry. It needs to steep, but past a certain point the cherry seems to disappear. It's the only tobacco I have ever tried, so I don't know how it is versus other tobaccos. Even when the cherry goes, it's still good. It tastes like cherry tobacco for pipes smells. It's something I never get tired of, unlike some other past favorites. Not a cough drop it sight.
