So I've been trying to get this thing working properly for several weeks and if anything the flavor has gotten worse. I've gone through two packs of 1.8 and 1.6 ohm nautilus coils from two reputable vendors, I've tried dozens of different liquids from 50/50 to 70pg/30vg, every air flow setting and voltage ratio I can think of. There has been one occasion where I got good flavor from it, and I haven't been able to repeat it. I know it's not machine oil but I thoroughly cleaned it anyways in case anything else was in there, boiling water, rubbing alcohol, salt etc. I'm not an amateur, I understand the relationships between airflow, wicking and power, I know that wicks need to be primed properly, I've been through it all but I am stumped on this thing. Is it just not wicking for some odd reason? I just don't know how that could be, even on the tightest airflow setting and lower voltage it still tastes like crap! The bad flavor I'm getting I could only compare to cooking spices and before you ask, no, it isn't the nicotine. WTF could it be???

510 or P3 base ?...alot of the 510 bases seat the coil heads too shallow and the top cap chimney completely covers/obstructs the eliquid ports causing wicking issues...
just thinking out loud here...
