been vaping for a few weeks now just finished my first 5 ml bottle of juice it was mango flavored 70pg 30vg. and i havent been able to taste it at all after the first few hits. i could taste the flavor more in the drip tip dry hitting it better than i could when i actually vaped. any suggestions? my set up is a ego battery with a long wick clearomizer if that has anything to do with it.

vaped 5 ml in just under 2 weeks. clearo holds 1.6 ml to fill line. I vape a tank and a half to two tanks a day. i find myself chain vaping alot. and no ive not cleaned it yet.

IMO, top coil clearos tends to mute the flavor more than other eliquid delivery systems. Try tipping your device so the coil/wick get saturated with eliquid faster.

So, 5 ml vaped in say 12 days (just under 2 weeks) is about 0.4 ml per day. Tank and a half is 2.4 ml and 2 tanks are 3.2 ml per day. Average is 2.8 ml per day, so your 5 ml would have lasted about 2 days.

If you are vaping 0.4 ml a day I think this is not vaper's tongue and you need to think about your equipment. When clearos become gunked up they stop performing well and taste suffers. I don't know which clearo you have, but here is a video which might help. If you have a different type of clearo, just Google for cleaning the one you have.

I think you are vaping more like 2.5 ml a day, but that means you would have used up your 5 ml bottle in a couple of days. In this case I think you are suffering from vaper's tongue and have got some great advice for that already in this thread.

Best of luck with it!

That happened to me once. I went to a brick-and-mortar business and sampled all their juice.

So much sampling, I got dizzy and had to sit down. And I couldn't tell a difference between any of them, well minor differences but nothing important. After a couple of weeks my taste buds are going to recover from quitting analogs and I was able to taste your juices again.

When I couldn't taste anything, I preferred menthol juices, because at least there was a good throat hit.

Sorry, it will pass.
