I have the sub box mini with the sub tank plus on top. I left my vape in my car and went into class today and it was hot outside. I just came back and my tank was leaking juice out of the air holes and some of it was even up through the mouthpiece.

Understand that heat thins the juice, but I don't quite understand why the tank would flood.

Any answers are appreciated thank you

It has to do with a major change in the air/fluid pressure inside the tank with marked temperature changes (air conditioned room to inside a hot car) or barometric air pressure (flying or traveling from the mountains to sea level, or vice versa). Most tanks operate under the physics model of negative pressure, or vacuum pressure. Expansion/contraction of the molecules inside the tank causes a shift in tank pressure. With the expansion of the liquid/air pressure, they take the route of least resistance, usually via an air hole, mouthpiece, 510 connection.

If you have to leave your vape inside a hot car, take the battery out and with you - preferably in a plastic battery case - at least don't carry it around in a pocket with keys or coins.

Leaving a battery in a hot car is a definate no, no. It will shorten the life of the battery and may result in some elevated risk of failure further down the line.

To help stop the leaking just flip your clearo / tank upside down. I do this when I am transitioning between AC and outside and it works well.
