Why does madvapes shopping cart time out so fast?

Trying to place a somewhat sizeable order, looking at various attys and options taking a while. I like the prices and the site, but geez,.. I get a 5 minute phone call and the site clears out my cart and I have to start over again, a couple of times . Maybe if I create account and log in it lasts longer?

Feature request: increase timeout of the shopping system, for new users at least.

hmmm.. Typically there's no time out but could be part of the new features 3d cart is releasing. One of them is the ability to save your shopping cart and start a new order and then be able to go back to the other order... I'll check and see if there are any settings for it..

I have an order that's been in my cart for a few days. I just checked it and it's still there.

Me too. But I have an account and don't add anything to the cart unless I'm logged in.

weird...i can make a list and come back two days later and place the order it never resets until i actually pay for it... strange..im using safari for PC not internet explorer maybe thats why...

It works the same for me and I'm using Google Chrome.

Timeouts occur for alot of reasons...(although not all are timeouts but appear to be). Firewall deflected packets, browser settings, inactivity, server side host issues or bounces, corrupt packets (caused by poor cabling/cheap nic's/degraded fiber lines/weak proxy/corrupt or incomplete nat tables...), host settings.... You see where I am going with it. If it seems the issue is related to more than one instance then try to find the commonalities and work through them.

Side note: I can't stand chrome so I am going to blame the browser if your using it! XD
