okay, so i i bought a pyrex glass tank at the local shop today and they gave me a SR carto with holes. they even filled my carto for me with virgin honeydew 12mg ( best honeydew i tasted).

anyways, i went home and vaped the juice. It has a very harsh throat effect and almost makes me want to cough. I switched out the carto to a new SR one and it did the same. then i tried the same juice on a LR carto and it worked perfectly fine.

Am i tripping or is LR carto smoother vape?

i use VMAX and EGO-c TWist 1000 . Both set at 3.7-4.2 . I even turned down both device to the lowest setting and it was still harsh with the SR.

whats going on, help . ( only started vaping for one month now)

It sounds like it may be the juice then. Have you tried any other juices?

I've posted this chart many times. It's only a starting place for which voltage you should use. You should adjust by taste.

yeah, burning taste generally means the carto/atty is running dry and needs more juice in it &/or the voltage is up too high (which is causing the carto/atty to burn too quickly. Nasty burnt mannequin flavor is usually a warning to one or both of these factors & I'd fix it before taking another draw. Ugh. I hate that taste... just thinking about it gave me goosebumps. Also, if a carto or atty is burnt too long it can permanently ruin the flavor of all juices in it and requires switching it out to a new one. This tends to be more of an issue with cartos. Its always crucial to allow a new carto ample time to soak up juice through n through to ensure it doesn't dry out. My carto's last me weeks on end if they're wet but one I burn them dry & the taste is still weird after a refilling I toss it & put on a new one.
My simple words of wisdom:
Wet atty/carto = happy, delicious & producing thick clouds.
Dry atty/carto = repulsive tasting, crappy vapor & potentially harmful noxious fumes.

Check the resistance on it. I've come across 1.7 ohm cartos that are running at 1.1 ohm out of the box. I've also had 2.4 ohm VN heads be at damn near 3.0 ohms.

I've found that it's kind of rare to have a carto actually read what it's supposed to be at. I don't run any carto/atty/VN before checking it first.

If it's tasting burnt either the carto is dry or you're running too high of a voltage.
