Why does this keep happening?

Like I said, I've tested the ohms on other atomizers before putting them into my hybrid and was wondering why I will dry hit on one mod, but not the other using the same exact coils.

Because the hybrid probably has a lower voltage drop since it's a hybrid and maybe has better contacts. You might have the same build on another RDA but if the voltage drop is higher, even by just a little it's going to perform differently, especially when you're playing with a .12 ohm coil.

But for the record and for any new vaper reading this thread I would like to say the following: it is totally irresponsible and unsafe to be building coils at this range without a multimeter to check your build (at any range you should check your build but especially at these ranges).
