I'm fine with being charged on a pre-sale. So long as that fact is disclosed before purchase.

Indeed. As long as the fact that it's a pre-sale is put out there up front, I'm fine with it.
Sadly, too many vendors (not just of e-cigs) have a habit of allowing out of stock items to be purchased and paid for without the customer knowing that he'll be facing long delays to actually get the product.

Many suppliers sell product based on inventory that they are EXPECTING. I don't personally do this, but I know a few that do.

The real issue is becoming that the chinese factory will tell a supplier that they have shipped their order, it should be arriving in a few days, etc. and then customs seizes the shipment and nobody ever hears anything further. Trust me, once the factories in China have been paid, they aren't going to follow up and make sure that suppliers in the US receive their shipment.

This is the story we've been hearing from multiple sources. We have yet to experience any problems, but it sounds like many people are getting their supply cut off.

We refuse customer requests for pre order. There is just no way of knowing when a shipment will arrive. The only time we sell something that is out of stock is when we get a rush on an item and it sells out before we have a chance to update the site. In this case we will gladly refund the order so a customer can take their money to a supplier that might have the product in stock. It is an unfortunate thing, either your site says "out of stock" all the time, but you never have back orders, or your site looks like you have everything in stock, then you carry tons of back orders. I am sorry you are having a bad experience, but I can tell you there are a good number of suppliers that do not back order their product.

This is the first time I have offered to pre sell anything. But I went ahead and offered to pre-sell the liquid, because my hardware came before the liquid and I know peeps wanted both items. That way they didnt have to pay shipping twice. I am fully prepared to issue refunds if something should happen and I can not ship them the items.

I also dont plan on doing the pre-order stuff on a regular basis. It just because my inventory of hardware and liquid got out of balance. This problem should be cured seeing that I have already place my next order and this order hasnt even arrived yet. It just takes time to get everything lined out when starting up.

With all the unknowns of shipping from China, customs, etc...this is totally the wrong business to be selling products that are not in stock. From personal experience, I have one box out of about 10 thats floating around DHL somewhere and noone can put their hands on it. I'll probably get it eventually but if I had pre-sold anything in that shipment I'd have alot of angry customers to deal with. It's just not good PR or good business practice.

All that being said, we don't and will never offer anything for sale that I can't walk to the stock room and touch.

^If it started out in new members forum (not sure if it did) then it was moved so that suppliers could reply (suppliers arent allowed to post in new members forum, nor in the reviews forum).

Because of possible customs issues, I too will not presale e-cig items. For another site I have I do presale some items, but I try to make customers aware of the fact. And those items are all made in the USA, so there's not the customs issues.

We do not do any pre-orders or back orders as what telleys said we really dont know when our products will come in( plus its bad PR is a nice way to put it..) Also i would not want to go to target and buy an item and at the register they say "o that was for display only" we will ship item later date.. haha NO WAY! Folks there are alot of trusted sites out there.. just read some reviews on these fourms...

I'm a bit ...... off at the moment...

We ship same or next day. Always. If there is any holdup due to a stock issue (and our sit eis updated daily so that is rare) we will email within the same time frame to give the customer a heads-up and ask the customer what they would like to do.

Our site has real-time inventory. We don't and have never pre-sold. We invest in keeping our customers satisfied with full transparency. We are an registered business LLC (city, state and federal taxes and licenses) with trademarks and a real US person presence in Shenzen and Beijing to oversee manufacturing and process control. We design an spec all our components and have them manufactured and tested to spec only from legitimate patent holders with published and verifiable RoHS, CE, UL and MSDS certificates. You know who they are! But we literally sit on their shoulders - and not through video conferencing. We are physically there.

We assemble, test and package each item in the US using our own facilities including Box, Manual, Label printing and sealing. We ship from the US three times a week and US packages arrive in 2 to 5 days for a $5 flat rate on any size order.

We have been in business since July 2008 and went live in November with a strong ebay presence (achieved Silver Power Seller in one-month of over 700 98% plus positive feedbacks). IDs are esmokepower and e-smoke-shop. (We don't do ebay anymore because of the ban).

We sell what our customers want to buy and are always open for suggestions.

We are founded by 2 former Law Enforcement officers who survived and were rescuers on 9/11 at the WTC. Therefore we are necessarily totally transparent in all our dealings.

Current coupon codes are LEAFORD (10%) and Chicago's FREESHOPPER (10%).

We respect our customers and only rely on their reviews and comments no matter where posted. We do respect opinions but if you are not a customer please state that on this forum, before commenting.

We run a legitimate business entity, compliant with a pertinent laws and regulations. We supply all paperwork to Customs and our product is properly labeled and itemized for Import Tariff purposes. We have an impeccable returns record and most of our customers come back to re-order or are referred or affiliate sales.

We have a generous and hassle free affiliate program which takes a couple of minutes to get started on and is not an MLM or ridiculously tiered program. It's easy to get started and make money right away without any risk or cost whatsoever. Our current hit conversion rate is over 4% and sales are growing (and that's for affiliates too!) buy an average 50% per month. Some affiliates are netting over $2000 a month with no risk and minimal effort. Please note that posting affiliate codes on sites where eSmoke has a prior presence is not allowed, but we all know the field is still wide open and you can find your creative niche and market without any real investment except your time and ingenuity.

We also have extensive experience with CFR 21 FDA compliance regulations and have been paid consultants to several Big Pharms in NJ to write policy and design compliant processes for clinical trial documentation and FDA submissions. We have authored process management and quality control procedures for Ernst & Young for their published state-of-the-art corporate methodology standards (Fusion) as well as ATOS Origin's Rainbow Methodolgy (CFR and ISO Certified). We have consulted to BASF's Givaudan Flavor & Fragrance division and designed their workflow processes and applications in NY and NJ for FDA and ATF compliance and audits.

We bring this as added value to our customer's beyond merely purchasing a product.
We bring much more to the table for our customers than just the $ale.

We thank you for your interest and we thank our customers for their support.
