just now my riva started to taste horrible. burnt plastic and chemicals is the flavour i can think of, i can't even taste the flavour of my RY4.

i changed the atomiser but no difference. i changed the cart and refilled it but no difference. the only thing i can think is that the battery is malfunctioning (both batteries actually!) and is running at a too higher voltage, therefore vapourising the liquid to fast / too hot.

is this likely?

it actually screws on to my other cig from DX, i just tried it. but the taste is still the same - horrible! wtf?!
maybe i just got my sense of taste back, and realised that it's actually not at all nice.

How long have you been off analogs and how long have you been vaping?

I would doubt that both (2)/all (3) batteries started messing up at the same time. I'm not sure if you're talking about 2 or 3. Do they all use the same charger? The only way I'd think they'd all mess up at once is if they all use the same charger and the charger went bad and messed them up. I'm not sure how likely that is.

Are you sure you have enough juice in your carts? That could be a cause.

Did you clean the filler material? Could possibly be a cause.

Any friends that vape? Try their ecig or ask to borrow a little juice to try. Maybe even try your juice in their ecig. Toss them a couple bucks to replace the cart if need be. Maybe the juice went bad?

I really don't know, just throwing out suggestions, possibilities and things to try

I think 789 was going in the right direction but didn't complete the thought...

Most vapors eventually have a stretch where nothing they do can make the vapor tast good. Something to do with taste buds coming back to life or something I'm sure.
But you eventually get through it and back to nice flavor.

I had mine about 2 weeks ago at about 2 months in...
It lasted about 2 days.

Just vape through it.

Best bet is to clean your atty.
I just rinse in hot water for 30 seconds or so.
Blow it out as hard as I can (from the non threaded side) until no more water comes out
Then Dry Burn it for a little bit..maybe 3 or four cycles of 10 seconds or so.

Drip about 6 drops of your favorite liquid onto the atty.
let it soak for a minute
Drip a copule more drops on and vape away.

That may help....
