Arggg,
This really frustrates me, I was going to order some coffee type juice.
Now I don't want some burnt or perfume tasting type of juice (have had no luck with the Chinese juices) so I look into the top rated juice suppliers out there (BWB, TV, KBV...) and it seems like the flavors you want are not available (out of stock), the site is down, or orders will take up to 72 hours to process....
I am really trying to get into this but this is making it so hard when you can't get anything worth vaping. And to top it all off now, it seems like the better juices you have to let steep 10 days or longer.
Now I am not new to vaping but went back to the analogs a few months back due to taste issues, poor hardware performance, attys either tasting plastic, burnt or poor vaper or little or no throat hit.

Hardware has improved immensely in the last year - larger batts, better cartos, bigger cartos, quicker charging where one really does not need to use a mod to get a decent vape. I think the biggest problem is just a lack of constancy with the whole process. Now I have a box of juice that is so - so, trying to give up the tobacco flavors and try something I feel I would like (love coffee).
Sorry to vent but man....FRUSTRATING!!!

Am I wrong for feeling this way?

No, I go thru phases of feeling frustrated with everything too. Usually about once a week I find myself:

Getting irritated with my inconsistant attys and the random leaking, a juice that was yummy to me yesterday makes me want to retch today and I can't find anything in my stash of juices that tastes good, the general maintenance of cleaning everything, etc

But then my taste buds straighten out, and the atty stops leaking, and I realize that I actually really DO enjoy vaping, and everything is right in the world again.

Another thing to consider is that PVs and vaping is still extremely new, and many improvements are surely on the horizon. Imagine what it will be like in 5 years from now? ...if the FDA doesn't ruin everything, that is... but that's another topic, LOL.

It can indeed get frustrating. I have about 30 juices I do not like at all and 4 that I like(2 I love). Halo is my favorite juice(but no coffees). Look at Vaperite.com and see if his coffee appeals to you. I have been really please with his vanilla bean(and I am picky). I have heard great things about his Kona Cream(I am not a coffee persom, and so I have not tried).

Best wishes!

Mak,

BackwoodsBrew should have all their flavors except a few (RY4, eJoker) restocked by tomorrow. I think Don just got his flavor shipment. The coffees I have tried : Cappuccino, Cafe Mocha, and Espresso are certainly delicious right from the mail. They do get richer and better with time but don't let the steeping scare you off.

I have been having a frustrating day with equipment (Ego-T) and flavors. It seems to be turning the corner now. With cigarettes I'd have bad days with it just not tasting right or satisfying, but there was nothing I could do about it but smoke another cigarette. I think vaping has just too many options and I am forever chasing the wow factor.

Sounds like DIY might be a good thing for you, unless you are the type that hates messing around with that stuff. I haven't made my own juice yet, but I plan on trying to do it and see what I can create. Seems to me that if I manage to create my own personal "perfect vape", then it becomes easier to keep myself well stocked.

Yea I guess I could go the DIY but now that would be going into an entirely different realm - much less the cost of flavors, PG and VG and having to learn another thing with e-cigs. I took a look at the DIY section and again, learning to create flavors to my liking seems to be an even bigger trial and error process. I did try a few loran flavors a while back but ended up with a bunch of fouled atties (at the time $10.00 a pop) and some really nasty tasting juice. Do not really get into fruity flavors and many of the sweets. Already have a box of yuck juice and having to set up a small lab is just not something I am ready to do at the moment.

Thanks everyone for your input and wishes, I will keep trudging on. Just wish there was an easier way.

Nothing worst then waiting a few days to get an order, try it and not like it, then letting is steep a week or more, trying it again and still not really liking it - wishing this was the flavor you were hoping would be the answer to your search. Now back to square one. Well not really as you know what ones not to buy again but then in the mean time carts taste different then dripping and different ohm carts taste different too - wasted carts with a yuck juice (cleaning carts has just never worked) or a poluted atty that never seems to work as good after cleaning. Need to buy more stuff again. My better half is wondering if all this cost is worth it as I still am smoking the analogs but not as much.

One can spend a lot of cash on this and still not be satisfied with the results. I have not run into a bad vendor - which is quite a few - all I have tried so far give a great service. I know looking for that holy grail of the combination of voltage - resistance - juice - PG/VG ratio - vapor production - throat hit along with the added inconsistency with equipment even though there have been vast improvements (no two carts or atties are the same it seems). ECF is a great source of info but lets face it, you have so many different opinions of different setups with this juice or that it can be overwhelming on what to do.

Yea frustrating - have friends who started vaping but all have gone back to analogs. Why - because of the frustration. I know taste is something that is different from person to person. Look how many different brands of analog cigs there are? But as you probably already know there are some really bad juices out there.

Sorry again about my rant but this road at times can get to you... been smoking for over 30 years and really do want to quit the analogs and e-cigs has been the only thing I have found that is the most promising to help me quit this addiction (have tried them all). I sure hope I figure this out before I end up in the poor house or die.

It is frustrating and can get quite costly. I have ordered from a vendor here that everyone loves and I don't see what all the hype was about. Hardly impressed. Wasted money again. I went to a new vendor that was all the rage...thank goodness they lived up to the hype! FINALLY! So okay...I found a company that I like...now I start steeping. LOL! I sooooooooo understand you.

The only thing that keeps me going is the joy and complete satisfaction I have in not smoking. That is enough to carry me through.

One of my favorite juices that no one seems to mention is Liberty Flights Cappiccino... it's unreal, smooth and creamy and the vape is great. I get it in the PG though... tried it in VG and didn't taste as good. The 18mg seems to be just perfect....

I am currently vaping another cappichino from a VERY popular supplier, and although it's "ok" I will be buying from Liberty again... it's funny because it's the one juice I started with that was not tobacco flavored.... and I still love it..

Another good one is pina colada and BWB's green apple..... very yummy if you like fruit

Mak - I understand your frustration. The DIY thing can look daunting but in reality if you can whip up a mixed drink you can make your own juice. I spent three months and countless $$$$ looking for the elusive holey grail of juices. The issue is there are so many and I always thought I would find something better. I started w/DIY small and the cost really is not that bad. Now I have 130+ flavorings (mostly 6ml sizes @$1.40 each) and can make whatever I can dream up. In all actuality I much prefer my own sauce now and have not bought a bottle of Vendor made juice in months. IMO most people who start DIY leave out one important ingredient and that is sweetner. You would be amazed at what 1% or less of sweetner will do for DIY sauce, even tobacco based juice. I hope you find a sauce that hits the sweetspot for you and happy vapes!

Which is more frustrating:

Learning to mix juice to your exact specifications and flavor taste?

Or paying some guy to mix some juice to his specifications in his garage and mail it too yah just to throw it in the trash and place another order from another guy cutting Dekang liquid with VG and wait on the mailman again?
