Rob over at Goodprophets.com is a good one. Not sure if he still does it, but he would throw in a free 30ml to every new customers, your choice of flavors. And more than once, he has sent me free juice to try. Once I told him I wanted to try Cocacola, Chocolate or Cappuccino and he sent me all 3 in 30 ml bottles. I am sure he can't do this for everyone, but I can attest to his generosity. He's always been great to deal with and I always get my stuff in 2 days.

Could a supplier take 5 or 10 empty carts and fill them with different flavors maybe at a low or medium strength? That way I could try them without buying a bottle of each one. I'm guessing if they did this at cost, a sample pack would only be 6 or 7 bucks.

Right now I’m getting all my juice from the same place I get my other supplies. It’s just too expensive for me to try out a bunch of different juices.

If a supplier really took a chance and just mailed out some free samples they might end up with a lot of new loyal customers. Maybe cost wise it’s too expensive, just a thought.

right there with you! I keep getting sample packs and do not like any of them. the only thing i can do, is add straight vg to them to make them vapeable, but no flavor at all left. I am going to try adding some loranne flavors to the vg mix-ups and see if it at least makes them do-able. Then you do find something you like, that you dont have to alter, for me it was freedom by halo, and its always out of stock for my nic level. its the crappiest part of the vaping world. for me at least.

Great post dgreen and I totally agree. I don't know why suppliers don't either throw in small samples or offer sample packs.
I also have read many posts raving about juice and find it a big disappointment. I probably killed my taste buds smoking for so long but I can't find a strong enough flavored juice. So far the flavorings I've tried for diy have also been weak tasting. Course I've never tried and probably never will vape a fruit or a dessert flavor.

T think nhaler offers tobacco samplers but don't know of any others.

Me too. I ordered the T.V. Butter Rum from Tasty Vapor with very good vapor but I couldn't taste the flavor, so since I heard such good things about Tastyfinger I figured I would order a "double" (70 pg/30vg) of that and mix with the Butter Rum and I should be able to taste something! Well I'll be darn - plenty of vapor but I can't taste the flavor in the Tastyfinger either. lol!! So I've got this big bottle of Tastyfinger I can't taste - but then again maybe its because I'm using the 501 which restricts the flavor, or maybe I should have ordered 100% PG instead of just 70%, right?.

Edited to add: I do taste the Atomic Cinnacide

I'm new to all this, and I've been looking around for a supplier to get a good selection of trial-size flavors to figure out what I like. From what I've seen, vikingvapor.com looks to have one of the best deals going for small bottles. They don't offer sample packs per se, but they do sell 7.5ml bottles at $3 a pop. For that price, you can get a dozen or so without breaking the bank. They'll also do PG/VG mixes at any ratio you like, which is nice.

Obviously I can't comment on the quality of their juice as I haven't ordered yet. But it does seem to be the best deal going for people like me who want to try a bunch of flavors without investing in big bottles. For $3, I won't feel bad about just tossing a bottle if I don't like it.

I learned very quickly that PG just does not agree with my throat (or my mouth). After a night of vaping PG or PG mix, my throat is raw and my mouth feels like it's got aliens hatching on my tongue. I could live with soft flavor, but they were too harsh on my throat, even at low nicotine levels.

I just got my ECOpure menthol today, and I'm a convert. If you're looking for something that burns your throat, this isn't it. First few vapes I thought "this tastes a bit like another old favorite.. the Nat Sherman "Hint of Mint"". They were insanely expensive but very tasty analogs. .. WIN!!

I also second the recommendation of trying a mild flavor tobacco or unflavored VG or PG based liquid and getting some different flavors to DIY to kick the flavor "up" a notch.

I think some of the reviews are sometimes suhjective if the poster has gotten free juice or samples. And of course everyone's tastes are different.
I gave up on menthol - last one I bought tasted sort of like mint Scope.
Maybe free samples are too expensive. I did get one once but that's only been one small one in 8 months. Then again I do read about some people getting juice to try from suppliers but just seems luck of the draw.
