Why is my cheap clone(8$) blowing my aga t2 away

Hey vets I have a cobra clone and an aga t2 both setup the same. 500 ss mesh,kanthal ribbon wire at .7 ohm. The chobra is working amazing with this setup and the aga is so so. It seems weak less sizzle, vapor , throat hit and flavor. I know the aga isn't high end but I thought it would out perform the 8$ clone that looks poorly made and you can see a bunch of defects. The chobra hits so hard I can barely take a 2 second pull of it. On the aga I can hit it forever. It just seems less responsive. Is it possible I just got a bad one with low conductivity or something. I'm using them both on the same mechanicals with the same juices. I just want to figure out how to get the aga running like the chobra because its the best I've ever used. Thank so much for your input.

.7 ohms? Wow! You didn't say what voltage you were using. If you are using fresh batteries and are sure there are no hot spots or small shorts and all coils glow red when dry then you probably have a bad AGA T2. I'm also assuming that the atty is make a good contact with the mod you have it on.
