why is my rebuildable stardust (whatever the darn name is!) fogging up?

It's just water vapor, hey we are 'vaping' here, accumulating on the inside of the tube since there is a direct passage between the coil through the wick holes. This is one of the reasons some folks don't like how their juices taste when the juice level starts to get very low in the tube. Truth is that remaining matrix of liquid is a fraction of water so the juice taste diluted. Simple really...

Only thing to do would be to see if it's actually condensation or clouding. If it's clouding, and you're planning to keep vaping the watermelon, then you will have to live with it. If it's just condensation, then don't worry about it. The clouding is the plastic breaking down and can lead to cracks and leakage.

I'm using the rebuildable stardust with 70/30 diy'd liquid. watermelon. at first I thought it was from going in the hot car to the a/c but that was hours ago and it's still happening.dunno?

I'm not a startdust expert, but I believe you can purchase replacement tanks (if necessary). You still need to verify what it is though. May be no need to worry. Just dump out the juice into a bottle and wipe it out.

thanks all :) Love the watermelon too much to give it up. I'll live with the cloud for as long as the stardust lasts.

I have about 10 Vision V2/V3s, and I have seen this happenning recently... and MY conclusion, is it was just some of the juice vaporizing.

You got juice in there and there is heat that it is getting, from the atomizer firing and typically some from the battery, and some of the juice in the tube is gonna vaporize right there in the tube.

Seems to happen when the juice gets low... because there is more heat concentrated on the remaining juice there.

Kinda like an 'ejuice fog'.

Actually, that may be the case in one of mine.

It this one (a RED one), I have PureSmoker Firecracker... a cinnamon juice and, so far the mouthpiece has been... well, it looks like, melting. Was getting wider where the mouthpiece touches the silicone cap... to the point where I was having trouble getting it in and out... and so I filed it down and now it is working much better... but, again, this one appears to be fogging up and it just might be some corrosion on the tube.

Will have to keep an eye on this one.... at least now I know where I can get replacement tubes and mouthpieces at a relatively good price (DiscountVapers).

Also, I am relatively new to using these and, was wondering how I know if an atomizer needs to be replaced and, now I know. It you start getting burnt juice from one where you were not getting burnt juice, it means the wick has gotten clogged to the point where it isn't getting enough juice through so what does get through absorbs that much more heat, to the point where it starts burning. You can also get this if the juice in the tube gets real low, but in that case it is just a matter of putting in more. On this other one, I have a Cafe Mocha which was my worst case in clogging up atties and boge cartos, I can try cleaning the atty but otherwise, time to put in a new one. Just made it through one 6 ML bottle before it started burning and, to be honest that is pretty much what I expected with the Cafe Mocha. This one is thus gonna be more expensive to vape than using boges, but otherwise if my other juices make it through at least 12 ML before I need to replace, then it is cheaper than boges, and that appears to be the case.
