Why is the "Member List" Disabled?

Just curious, don't really need it, I just wanted to look for cool names.

I think you can turn it on in the settings menu. On phone so I can't check but I'm pretty sure I saw a check box to turn it on before.

The View member list was disabled due to that function making the forum run VERY slowly, if I remember correctly.

That was a pretty damn good guess if you ask me, very reasonable. Also, I'm not positive,but verification might be required to gain access, it would make sense anyway.

Right. We're not opening it up to everyone. You have to have a good reason for wanting access to it. We were getting hammered mercilessly by bots trying to scrape info from the membership list.
