i had a couple tough builds at first. Be patient. Once you get it right it ROCKS!
The key for me was NOT cramming wick in those channels. Only let a tail (tip) of wick go down into juice channels.
Second... the fill method. I use a needle syringe to fill SLOWLY. CLOSE the airflow while you do so. Let the bubble burp up and out as you fill. Dont overfill. put the fill screw in half way. Flip it over and let juice settle. THEN tighten screw.
For some reason this creates a better vacuum in tank and stops leaks and gurgles.

I concur with both things said so far. I have mine built to .4 dual 26ga micro coils wicked with rayon, cut really short and only some tips going into the channels (similar to how I ran my kayfuns). It's sitting on a copper Vapetech Pegasus. Works great the first time, every time. My 2nd one comes today and that will be built the same way and sitting on a copper 4nine clone.

I agree with this 100%. By the way, my Fogger is at. 9 ohms and works great.

Great response here. I have zero wick in the channels. I do a KFL wick and it vapes wet, moist and heavily. This setup runs on the verge of leagage thru the airholes which I do not mind at all with this device.

It's a beast. Also, there is a monster thread on the fogger in this forum. Hundreds of posts.

G/L!

So I rebuilt it at .76 ohms 30ga with 6 wraps around a 2mm bit

And this thing sucks even worse now I got like 2 hits before it turned inti nothing but dry hits I dont understand this any advice?
It looks like your wicks are overstuffed and have turned when you screwed the chimney on.

Rewick it making the wick "shoulders" almost the same diameter as your coil diameter. Tuck the wick ends ever so gently onto the top deck of the device and when you screw down your chimney watch your wicks closely to make sure they do not move at all. If they move a little bit, simply take your tiniest screw driver and reposition them over the channels but not in the channels and you should be good to go.

Also, it looks as if your coils are "torqued" a little bit. That left coil has too long a lead to its post and has slanted that coil. The right coil needs abit of tweaking as well. Make sure your coils are dead straight, dead parallel with the center of the atty and tight with no gaps or slants. On that left coil, the lead end needs to wrap into the coil better. It needs to wrap over the top of the coil then make a sharp right turn then a left turn to the post...lol. Same thing for the right coil. Your coil leads when screwed down on your posts are deforming your coil. It will lead to raspy hits as it is no efficiently atomizing the wick and juice. Also, the right coil lead looks like it missed getting caught under your screw. You will lose power if you do not have perfect contact all around with your posts be it the pos post or the neg post.

Let us know if this works for you...

Your using too much wick. People who are running it 0.5 0hm ish or lower are probably using rayon, rayon likes bigger coils, more voltage, and is the reason for success with the lower build on the Fv4.
That being said, personally I think you start to sacrifice flavor under 0.5 0hm. And I run one fogger on my ProVari @1.4ohm and it's about 99% as good as my others from 0.5 0hm to 0.8 0hm. I run the sub ohm builds with 28ga and the 1.4ohm with 30ga.

Your problem is that your using WAY TOO MUCH WICK.

Cut the tails at an angle so they are thinner by half the total density, and come to a point. The point, tip, should be half or one third of the way down each channel.

Post a. Close up pic of your build, specifically the wicks, for help if your still having problems, the above pic looks like it has too much cotton.
