Trying to figure out which cotton candy to buy from GV. Looks like GV has many different Cotton Candy flavors. Some of them have different names and different pictures so i can figure those out. But there are at least 7 exactly the same that is labeled Cotton Candy. Are they all the same? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance I am lost....

They are probably not the same. Gourmet Vapor is a vendor where you can design your own, and afterward others can order what you created. If you look at one you are interested in, it will usually show you how it was made; at least the ingredients used. You may have to look at those to see which one might suit your fancy.

For instance, I created one I called Zaphod's Brew. It is made of Apple, Cinnamon, and Rum. I really like it, and others can order it if they choose. (I don't think anyone has, but that is their loss)

I buy often from GV. I think the duplications are usually created because someone didn't know the others existed, so they created their own. The search engine on the site could use some improvements. You pretty much have to get into the ALL category before clicking Search, and keep the search phrase simple or very exact.

Another good think about GV is ... well, exactly what you found. So many different variations. Some of the entries don't break down the ingredients beyond the picture, nor do they include the percentage breakdowns ... but a lot of the entries do.

Using a simple word search ("chocolate" for instance) will bring up a wide range of concoctions that are unusual, flavorful, and some you might have not even thought to try. You can use what you find to create variations all of your own.

I just got in a batch of flavors I've been working on this afternoon.

*Tip - with GV, only a touch of cinnamon or honey is needed for flavor. Found that out by trial and error.
