I tried searching around if anyone had asked this, and also tried to do some research on this, but I can't seem to figure it out.

Why are some liquids really dark and somewhat syrupy, and others are basically clear? Let me clarify:

I use- and love- Vaporbomb's products. One of my favorite things about their e-liquids is that their stuff is very liquidy and clear, and sometimes tinted (my waffle flavor is tinted the most). The liquid from Cignot.com is also clear like Vaporbomb. When I first got my e-cig at the evil mall kiosk (Totally Vapor), I also bought three flavors. Their stuff was VERY syrupy, and not at ALL clear. Translucent, almost opaque. I bought from Gourmet Vapor, and their stuff is kinda syrupy, not as bad as Totally Vapor, and kinda liquidy, somewhat clear liquid.

It's just strange to me. They're all mixed with PG and VG. The Gourmet Vapor and Vaporbomb juices are 18mg nicotine. The Totally Vapor and Cignot.com juices are 24-26mg nicotine.

I greatly prefer Vaporbomb's stuff over the rest because it's the easiest to clean out of my attys, and they're quite tasty. I didn't like the two flavors I got at Gourmet Vapor, but that's because of my tastebuds, not the company. I very rarely use my Totally Vapor stuff unless I need the higher nicotine. The USA mix from cignot smelt really bad, nevermind trying it, but I don't like tobacco flavors.

Any info is great, thanks! :vapor:

The consistency of the juice has to do with the PG/VG ratio. VG is very thick, so the more VG in a juice, the thicker it will be. The advantage of VG is that it produces more vapor, but it also tends to mute the flavor and produce less TH. I don't particularly care for a lot of vapor, and am more concerned about flavor and TH, so I try to get all of my juices mixed with a 80%PG/20%VG ratio. I'm not sure about the coloring of juices - FSUSA's juices to to be clear, while those of Gourmet Vapor tend to be darker in color - but I suspect that the types of flavorings used have some impact on the juices color, as does the age of the juice. Juices tend to darken with age. These are just my observations, so take them with that in mind.

Thank you for the reply! It's weird because my gourmet vapor juice is 80/20 PG/VG but it's still thicker than the Vaporbomb juice. I, too, care for flavor more than vapor, but I do love seeing a 'smokey' exhale. :)
