Why would anyone want to go to the ego-c from just an ego?

I have on order a cartomizer and an ego to try out, because the leaking was just too much.
Why did the company not just stay with something that was working so well without leaks. Why switch to something that was designed to be so frustrating and complicated? I have had to poke a hole right in the middle of a soft cap, and if the draw is too strong, it leaks out everywhere. I want something simple, with a good hit, that doesn't leak, and pref with the ego-t/c battery.

Ego tank systems leak most of the time because of how the user takes a drag. You cant take a drag on an ego-Tank like you would a cigarette or even a normal cartomizer. The faster and harder you drag, the faster the juice feeds into the atomizer which causes flooding. Its unavoidable. You have to take slow and steady drags.

I have had my ego-T's leak a lot and its always because I forget to take a softer drag. After I move to the slow and steady drag I have no problems.

Once it leaks you have to blow it out and whip the battery contact and bottom of the atty. If you dont do that, you might think its leaking again but its just left over juice from the last leak.

I dont use my ego-T very much but I still think its a great setup. Im in the minority on this one, but I find it gives a richer flavor.

Interesting, I will have to inform my friend of this, he bought one and was having some similar issues.

When the "new improved" version is marketed to replace a failed previous version
many people may buy into the hype and purchase another unit. After all, the problem has
now been resolved(supposedly).

Unit A makes producers and vendors X dollars.( It's worth a try)
Unit B makes producers and vendors X dollars squared.(The last one leaked but they've fixed that now, buy another)
Unit C makes producers and vendors X dollars quadrupled. (Okay, they must have got it right by now, try again!)

By implementing small changes to a poorly designed product, it allows everyone in the chain to make a lot more
money. And the end consumer to buy and spend 3 times more cash than they'd originally planned, in the "hopes"
the newest incarnation works as the first one should have worked.

Whats next? An eGo "D"?

Why not? CHA...CHING!!!

Cartos and Stardusts are working fine for me.
But that's just my 40 dollars worth.

Cheers Hitme:vapor::vapor:

The wife is hooked on those (I may be as well), and I can't get them to leak a drop. We're Ego-C'ers and have already dumped the stock tank setup, with the exception of utilizing them for juice testing for the most part.
I am waiting for my first order of the Ego vision transparent clearomizer and hope they work as good as the reports I have read here on the ECF. I do like the eGo-c very much and have had no problems what so ever with them. Its nice just to pop in a new atomizer head in them when needed, and not need to buy a whole cone Assembly like the T, alot cheaper too.

The eGo-C leaks badly?
I have the T and I haven't had a leak issue yet and I actually poke out the hole more than the punch does to improve flow to the atty.

I always thought the C just has an atty that was able to be broken down for easier cleaning/part replacement...hrm

The eGo-c is much easier to break down and clean and alot cheaper to buy the replacement coil assemble, than throwing away and buying a new eGo-t cartomizer, and the C's work better in MHO.

My personal experience is that you have to train your drag technique a little bit. Smooth draging, filling the mouth - inhaling. Fine.
Also important. If you are carrying it the mouthpiece has to be at the bottom. On a table always lay it down.

If you are talking about the eGo-c atty, I don't know why you carry the tank/mouthpiece at the bottom. I assume you mean if the whole unit is together with the mouthpiece/tank attached to the battery that you carry it upside down.

I gotta agree with the other posters about technique. Slow steady draw on my ego-c and I have no problems whatsoever.

Last night was a good example of this. I let my friend try my ego-c (he is a BLU user, doesn't care for anything else) and he wasn't doing it right. I said, dude, you gotta take a slow controlled pull on it. He just couldn't do it, was trying to force the drag. A little while after that, I had my first tank leaking problem... HE FLOODED THE DANG THING! I think that may be the last time I let a friend try my PV, well at least my ego-c.

I had it down to a science my first day because I read all the ins and outs of this particular PV and wanted to get it right! The only thing I notice is condensation inside the tank body when I finish the tank.
