Im having problems with my ss mesh wicks. Im using 400 mesh and oxidizing it very good. I have a small hole all the way through it but it wont keep up with a coil at 1.8ohms.
I am guessing it is a genesis device? If it is are you tipping the atty to an almost horizontal plane with the ground when you take a drag to help keep the wick wet? Also if you are not doing so keep the wick at the bottom of the atty when you have it horizontal to take a drag. These things can help keep your wick wet.
Also sometimes it seems like my new ss wicks in genny atty's take about a half a tank to a tank to really start wicking well. Maybe it is just in my head , but that is what it feels like to me.
What PG/VG ratio are you using? Lots of PG = thick juice = wicking issues. Can be thinned with a couple drops of water or even vodka if you don't want more PG.
