SS Wick rolling QA

I was sitting around and though to myself, hey why not roll up some ss mesh wicks to have handy and then i thought, how do i keep them oxidized ? so i put them in a small zip lock with some good juice.

Any thoughts or suggestions on this ?

I keep them in unflavored vg.

how about a pill bottle filled with VG like this?

That is a great idea! I think filling the bottle would be overkill though. They are wicks, they wick. A sufficient amount applied to the wick to moisten it and a small amount in the bottom should suffice if you want to keep them wet right?

Why bother to store them in juice at all? So we have an oxidized wick that we're concerned will somehow lose oxidization in air?

I do mix my own juice, so the VG is cool with me, I wasn't sure what to use, after spending some time firing these i didn't want to create a short. I think when you buy a Zen style PV he sends you some extra wicks, that gave me the idea even though i use a iHybrid I wanted to have at least 5 wicks ready to go.

Maybe it was a silly question, but i am familiar with dissimilar metals connected in electronics having issues with oxidization but not sure about open air concepts when it comes to firing stainless steel then leaving it out in the open, maybe there is no random oxidization ?

There should be no problem because SS in EXTREMELY SLOOOOOW! to oxidize in air.
