Wick on fire!

I was just cleaning and dry burning my coil with silica in it (I know I use cotton too) and my wick suddenly caught on fire! I want to know why this happened and what I can do to prevent that from happening ever again. My poor MVP doesn't like being around fire.

e liquid is flammable
vg has a flash point of 320 °F

I ordered some ceramic wick from RBA Supplies....much higher flashpoint, I would think...and torches clean...might be a good idea to re-wick some coils with that (it's what I'm planning on doing) ... but check the video .... seems like a great solution

Yup, it happens. Not a problem, as The Vagabond said, it's the juice. Just think of it like it's a birthday candle and blow it out. If it really bothers you, make sure the wick has no juice on it.
