I have a kanger mini protank2 and I was cleaning it and lost my flavor wick (aka, the one not threaded through the coil solenoid) for my 2.2 ohm atty. so what I did is bust open my spare 2.5 ohm atty and took the coil wick out of that and am using it as my flavor wick for my 2.2 ohm atty. I did this because I also lost my flavor wick for the 2.5 ohm atty.

Just wondering if this is okay to do? I assumed both wick are the same material. I'm just noticing low vapor, so wondered if it's possible they're not the same. Or, my battery is just low

They are both made of a silica material and are fine to use for flavor wick. You could also use cotton from a cotton ball, q-tip, a few strands of cotton yarn, etc.

Thanks for the reply. It just looks like it's ticker than the flavor wick I lost, so figured it might be hindering my vape. But I'm also pretty sure my battery is kinda low so maybe that's it

I've been sticking 3mm silica wick in when I rebuild for the flavor wicks. I thought it was too much so now I've been splitting the wick and using 2 strands and it's just like the original flavor wicks.

I just took that coil wick and unwound it into 2 wicks, of half the size. So now they look like the size of flavor wicks on the atty, however, when I turn my voltage up all the way I get that burnt taste, however, I didn't use to get that with flavor wicks.
