Sadly, this was kind of the theme song for the whole generation... I had some older friends who went to serve in Vietnam, and some others who went to Canada to avoid the draft!!

But I also remember a bunch riding around in Topanga Canyon with this song blasting from the 8-track deck in a friend's car... and all of us singing along at the top of our lungs...

These guys actually played at one of our High School dances when they were just starting out,
