wicking a kayfun que!?!?!?

So in my video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PH1WZ6i40kg&feature=youtu.be i was vaping my kayfun at 28 watts with a .7 ohm coil. No i got a ton of messages how it was able to wick my 100% VG juice that high everyone says they cant go over 16 watts without burning. so here are pic of my build- kayfun wick - Imgur. Does everyone use less cotton than me?

From what little I can see from that pic it looks like you would have air flow problems. Search youtube for more ideas.

Well, I haven't gone below 1.2-1.3 ohms on mine yet (not until I get a mech); but I do use considerably less cotton on my builds and haven't had any issues with burning - even when firing the thing for a good 10-15 seconds. This is with 100% VG as well with the air flow open about as much as it'll go without the screw sticking out. I even experimented a little bit and tried to put an extra strip of cotton sitting along the top of the coil to act as a flavor wick. A week in and there still wasn't any burning/scorching - though performance wasn't really affected, so I no longer use that technique..

About how old is the wicking in your picture there? Looks like it has some scorching from use...but no burning.

this was 3 days of use ive never used that much cotton before i was just playing around i can use half that and it still wicks fine up to 20 watts but with that build i went to 28 watts and it still tasted fine.
