Wicking when the coil is small and the glass fibre wick threads come apart...

(this might be no news to experienced builders, but I'm so proud I just discovered this myself ): I wrapped cotton around one end of the glass fibre and twirled it pointy like in a cotton wick. Made it easy to thread into the smallish wick.

Something to keep in mind if you don't already know.

Silica is burnproof and cannot be destroyed. No need to change it, just dry burn the coil and rinse off the ash and keep going
