Wicking ????????

Stardust vision. OK I'm going to attempt to rebuild this contraption. I know thay use 32g kanthal wire. But what kind of wicking material do I use and where can I get it? Is it something I could but local and not have to wait for shipping? Thanx. I hope, lol

Silica rope is what's used for wicking material most of the time. This is because it's heat resistant. If you want to find something local. Then perhaps try Google. Otherwise, a good online source would be:
