Hi David,

First I need to say that my new precise plus 18350 is awesome, and so far maintenance free compared to my old ones! Unfortunately I lost it last week and need a new one :(

I was wondering if it would be possible to machine the juice well a little wider on my new one so that it will fit the current gen ce2's better? The current ones use a thicker plastic, so they are a little fatter. They just fit in the existing juice well, but the draw can be a little stiff.

Thanks,

Gerry

Sorry to hear of your loss. On the juice well, i may be able too. My only concern is i love the flush look and function of the well, go too big and we
Lose that. Do you have a pic or dimensions of the old style carto vs the new?

Since some of the current cartos could benefit from a larger well, could this function be combined with the depth and width to accept Ego type atties without an adapter? If you add up the users of both types of heaters it would be a fairly large market segment for an optional or aftermarket top.

If you did this with your Plus line, it would motivate me to move up from my now aged but still loved P16.

Hi David,

I've placed order #10477 for my replacement precise plus. Here are some photos showing the size difference of the old and new ce2 cartos, as well as their fit on a precise 16340 (old juice well size). The ce2's still work, but the draw is sometimes stiffer.
